WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Spoiler A New High Prince Rises The citizens of Linandria gathered in the main street of the city, which was crowded from end to end. Hanging off the high tree branches were banners depicting the sacred tree and stag which had become the traditional emblem of the Dominion. The crowd murmured among themselves, standing in front of them were the members of the Dominion Council. The Princes, Primarches and Cheiftains of elvenkind. Prince Artimec emerged above them, standing on the plateau above the throne room, in front of the cherry blossom tree. He seemed stoic as usual, yet strangely at ease, given the formality of the situation. He straightened his hand, his hand purposefully coiling around his druidic staff, then began to speak. Mali ito Elcihi Linandria - Elvenfolk of the Dominion, a new son of Malin rises to lead us. Many are already aware of the abdication of High Prince Tristin of the seed Tresery. To those who are unaware, our long reigning monarch has resigned from his position as head of our union. Prince Tresery departs from office with the blessings of the Princely Council, the Seed Cheiftains, the Naelurir Priesthood, and his people- the children of the forest, sons and daughters of Malin. His legacy, a nation of mali’ame united under faith, culture and pride, free from the genocides and oppressions of old, will be upheld by his successors. Following the vacancy in our monarchy, the Council of the Dominion was convened in order to elect a new High Prince, among other vacant roles. Present was Artimec, chieftain of Caerme’onn, Leo, Chieftain of Aureon, Damai, Chieftain of Torena, Aenor, Chieftain of Calithil, Princess Siri Ihelia, Lyemar of el'Sirame, and Dak’ir Des’nox, Primarch of the Ashen Folk. In their wisdom, a new ruler was chosen. A man who has existed as a dutiful servant of the elven people across centuries and many continents. A man who survived the purges of the White Rose, who refused to abandon the dying nation of Malinor in the direst hour of our people when so many of us jumped off of that ship. A man who stood up to the tyrannical doctrines of Haelun’or and the Silver State during the era of cultural oppression. Who stood up for his blood, and the old way, when so many of us submitted to the iron fist of Kalenz Uradir. A man who was among the first to volunteer himself to a people reborn under Praetor Tristin Tresery in the nascent city of Cerulin, after the ravagings of the High Elves had devastated the home we had been forced to flee from. A man who has served as a stark, devout warrior of the Sirame since the Order’s conception, at current, the longest standing levy of the elven people of all time. Who has led his people from the bloodied fields of Barrowyk to the flaming tundras of Avar. A man who believes in patience, wisdom and intelligence. Who understands the virtue of knowledge and the blessing of learning. A man who upholds the ancient traditions, faith and history of the mali’ame. Who served as one of the main pillars of the revival wood elven culture, the old way and the Aspectist rite. A man whose complexion speak to his Lariheian heritage, yet has the blood of the old Seeds run through his veins. A man whose loyalty and sense of duty has been consistently challenged, yet never once has wavered in his many centuries of service. Mali ito Elcihi Linandria, I hereby present your new High Prince. Aenor of the Seed Calithil. Spoiler May the Horned Hunter and Maiden of Spring bless his reign to be long and prosperous. Blessed Be to High Prince Aenor Calithil, the Chosen Son of Malin, Rightful Sovereign of Laureh’lin, Ker’nor and Norseth’onn, lord of the Ashen Kin and Forgotten Folk, Guardian of the Aspectist Rite. Drop Koala 332 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Prince Damai's large form stood him tall above most of the council, his height staggering for one of 'ame blood. The chieftains hands were clasped behind his back as his weathered, watchful gaze panned over the citizenry, his colossal sword 'The Tamer' giving proof to his strict nature as it lay dormant on his back, ready to be drawn at the slightest of inconveniences. Damai's singular ear twitched on his heavily scarred face, his tattooed skull bearing witness to his savage character. "From this day forth, I pledge my allegiance and that of my seeds to High Prince Aenor. Ame ame ame" He'd shout out to the crowd, attempting to lead them on. overlord2305 202 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Lynnette watched curiously, producing a empty sheet of paper and a small metal rod with a piece of coal in one tip, starting to write down all the information with it before stating briefly "the lesser mali are most odd..." the young 'aheral paused her speech and writing briefly, vontinueing her documenting ever as rapidly as before after stating to herself "yes." Kaelan 1918 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Lyemar stood, hand clasped behind his back with his fellow councilmen and women of the Dominion. Emerald eyes washing over those gathered as a small smile hinted at the corner of his lips. His Sirame armour appeared almost new, freshly polished and absent of any dents, scratches, or smears of mud. Every so often he gave a flick of his ears as Artimec spoke, nodding as well occasionally. "May the Father and Mother take notice of you, Aenor. May they guide your path so that you may guide our people into the bright future that awaits us." He spoke softly, his smile growing as Damai riled up the crowd with a warcry. Delmodan 855 Share Posted June 20, 2017 A sudden series of faint, melodic voices of nature could be heard to all those attuned to the Aspects. The vines, grass, even the very branches within the trees would give off a gentle sway as the area falls into a calm, serene like tranquility. A few moments later, several flowers within the surrounding area would grow to a full, vibrant bloom of beautiful radiance of each flower's respective color. The Hierophant observed the others while sitting upon one of the many branches within a tree nearby as her eyes glowed a brilliant, emerald hue. LadyRebecca 1050 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Upon the isle of Ceru, a woman of much darker complexion than those that surrounded her silently lifts her auburn gaze. A gentle sparrow, no larger than the size of her fist, fluttered down before her, a note within it's small grasp. Receiving the message, the mali'ame woman breaks into a bright smile, the corners of her eyes creasing due to the sheer width of the smile she wore. "Aspects guide your path, Aenor," the Grand Princess whispers, turning her gaze to once more resume watching the gentle waves of the fennic dock, her smile remaining present.
