The streets of Linandria are packed, a celebration unique to it's kind. The revival of an age of tradition, the appreciation to paragons who shaped the future of their people. The mali’ame were bulk in their numbers, shoulder to shoulder, house to house. They stood, sat and stared before an elevation in the city. The murmuring of anticipation amongst the crowd as a loud union of noise.

A tanned ‘Ame stepped forward, standing atop the ledge looking out into the crowd. Clasping his hands together he elevated his voice. “Karin’ayla, my fellow Mali. Welcome to a celebration new to this generation, but a tradition that goes back millenniums.” He would smile opening his arms towards the crowd. “Today, unlike any days, will be marked down as a day to remember for generations. The day that we, the Mali of Linandria, as one recognise the achievements and sacrifices made by special individuals under Aspects light.”

Valor would bring his hands back together, turning his body to move across the platform slowly. “Naelurir. Naelurir whose faith knows no bounds. Today, not just an example for aspirants, but a model for the future. They did not follow the path of the Aspects in Linandria, lliran, they made it.” He would stop before the ledge, looking out to the crowd. “That is why with happiness in my heart, that I have been bestowed with the opportunity to anoint Linandria’s first Oracles!”

“Oracle is an honorary title given to Naelurir who display excellence in their life towards their religion, culture and nation. It does not directly give power to its owner, albeit it does carry weight as it requires a lot of wisdom and insight to have achieved.” Valor would pause. “The day has come for a new beginning, a restoration of our tradition!”

Under the roar of the crowd, Valor smiles. Bringing his arms up, fluttering his hands dismissively. “Toda-” He tried to expel before being drowned out by the crowd. “Today-” He finally gets out “I am happy to announce the 'ame who will receive such a title!” He would turn his back to the audience, his eyes glowing an emerald hue, with closed eyes. From the soil below emerged two large totem poles, imagery beautifully carved in the wood.

“Sparrow Druid Arahaelth Tundrak!” He would pause. “For her service in maintaining the health of the citizens of Linandria, contributions to government affairs and an elder to the Aureon seed!” Valor would gesture for Arahaelth to step out to the platform beside him, situated by her totem pole specially carved to display her history.

“River Druid Calius Terin!” Valor would hold his arms out. “One of our most long standing princes, for large contributions on the restoration of our culture, faith, military and culture. There are very few ‘ame who can claim to have had such an influential contribution on multiple fronts for the ‘ame.” He would gesture for Calius to also step out to his side, beside his pole also carved to his life.

“These are our chosen, two ‘ame who in Aspects’ light paved the way for the future of us all. Today, they will be anointed as an ode to their life. However; before that happens, they have mastered a speech for you all.”

Valor would step back, bringing his hands together and lowering his head for them to take the platform

Spoiler

Due to their vastly different timezones, the anointment of the Oracles will be roleplayed on the forums. The nominated will give their speech on the thread. Then the thread will finish once I have concluded it. Feel free to post your roleplay perspective on this thread as it is a completely open festival!

Additionally apologies for atrocious writing, I wrote this from work on mobile over the span of two days. I'm very lazy.

The Prime Adherent of the clerics would be within the crowd, showing her support and respect for the two new oracles.

Vienele stood in the crowd, positioned closer to the front, with a smile on her face. She clapped as Arahaelth made her way up on the platform. Her smile widened when Calius was motioned forward onto the platform as well. Once again, she clapped, however it was louder this time, showing complete support for her love.

Kasfer wonders if these Naelur'ir folk set up buffets at their celebrations. He is extremely disappointed.

"I am sure he meant 'Arahaelth Aureon-Tundrak.." Leo frowns softly, mumbling to himself.

Calius would step forward first, clearing his throat, and having his hands idly behind his back. "Brothers and sisters of Malin, I have to say. I am rather humbled with this honour. When I began my journey with this city in Athera I was but a simple Sirame, and now here I am, Prince of Housing in Linandria and now an Oracle of the Naelurir." He'd pause for a moment, taking a glance back at the totem pole behind him. I never really was quite one for speaking, so I suppose I'll offer some advice instead."

With a soft smile he'd look back out to the crowd. "With our long lives, we forget sometimes we must stop to admire the small things, though not to over observe them. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and when you live as long as we do, you see almost all of it. I can honestly say I have... Anyways! Live your lives like a river, things will come and go, yet you must adapt to each and every one of them. Take it from me, the one eyed madman who somehow became Prince." He'd muse the final sentence, shifting his arms a bit to cross them over his chest. "It has always been an honour to serve this city and it's people, even watch some of them, or well, most of them. Grow up from being oem'ii. I only hope I may continue to do such for many years to come, and even when I do pass, that you will all still follow in the steps laid forth. Ame nae evareh!" With that final remark, he'd once more step back.
