Rudi 1747 Share Posted July 1, 2017 12th of the First Seed, 1618 “Ever asked yourself, how you’ll die? Well, I did. As a kid I imagined myself, dying like a hero on the battlefield, doing the ultimate sacrifice for the cause. Whatever it might be. When I grew older and got married, I always wanted to die with my family around. Laying in a bed, smiling and just closing my eyes. When I was older, this version faced the reality. Dying of my pierced liver or my thanicpoisoned lungs. But under no circumstances I’d have ever imagined dying like this.” My name is Drasko Menuchim Kovachev, second to Sergei Kovachev, grandson of Jan Kovachev. Father of Stefjan Kovachev and husband to Astrid Kovachev and later Helaine Kovachev. I am the thanium bomber of Johannesburg, the blue griffin. And I died by the hands of my very own son, Stefjan ‘The lost’ Kovachev. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ "Do it already" Said the mature northman, facing the only person he has dedicated his entire life. Standing along his sister-in-law in the Norlandic keep, surrounded by hulking men of Norland. He didn't even think of breaking the eyecontact with his son. Stefjan Kovachev, the son of his first wife, Astrid Kovachev, stood infront of him, holding the blade his commander handed him to fullfill his task, to finish it. He glared at him, stating already that the man who he was standing infront of him wasnt his son anymore. This man killed his son, years ago. Leaving just a shell of a man, who fled like a coward, Drasko thought, of man who seeked "a fresh start". They planned on chopping off their heads on the knees, but Drasko even though his mature age, did not plan to die like a commoner. The nobleman was filled with proud and anger as he reached for the bare blade, the man he once called his son held, to lead it to his throat. The man hesitated, pulling the blade out of Drasko's grasp. The blade burrying through his skin like butter, causing his hands to soak in his own crimson liquids. "I never planned on doing this.." the man muttered. Drasko hesitated for a second, knowing that he proved his point. Forcing himself not to scream in his last seconds, he swallowed all of his pride, before giving parting his lips a final time "You are as weak as your mamej." and pushed blade into his own throat. The nobleman, with the red tabbard, striped in gold and black, coughed out the blood which quickly flooded his mouth, spiting some of it into the man's face before collapsing on the ground without giving a further noise. Jaigalar 541 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Spoiler Sergius stood within the recently reconstructed Camp Barbanov whilst awaiting the return of his grandmother and Drasko. He waited and waited before one of his loyal bannermen, Galahad, had come back instead. Sergius frowned as Galahad rushed towards him and he was notified of the grim news. Later on Sergius had sent off a bird, asking for the bodies and they were swiftly returned, one without their head. He looked down at the tarp covering his headless grandmother and Drasko. “Who would kill their own father? Or the person they saw as a mother? What kind of heartless man could do this.” “Stefjan.” “He couldn’t have, despite leaving us he is still family.” “It seems Stefjan is too far gone.”
Eggles the Beagles 252 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Kynisnna Kovachev now lay cold and gone. In her last moments just as she closed her eyes on the new found stranger she saw the images of the past swirl before her. A life time of both pain and happiness, sickness and health. The beginning when she first met her husband Henrik which led to the birth of their children and her arrival into a new welcoming home. And within that home was a lonely boy whom mistakenly had taken to calling her mamej. Those happy times of her youth would carry her into old age despite misfortunes brought upon her and her kin. Through the lost of her husband and her son and her next son and the absence of her daughter there was little left of her happy family. But there was the lonely boy. She had made her peace in this world and when it came time for her to see her lost boy, he was no longer able to be found. Instead he left something behind that looked like him but was not. Now with her gaze looking over this stranger one last time and her fallen brother-in-law in her arms, she closed her eyes for the last time. Nothing but a sigh escaped her lips and then there was a flash of silver accompanied by silence.

Andustar 4143 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Viktor would sit in the silent halls of Kovachgrad, setting Drasko's letter down by the mantle. Leaning back against the dark-oak chair, he would brush a hand over his dampened face before speaking in a hushed tone. "You were the only brother that truly cared for me Drasko. You encouraged me when others shunned me and supported me when I needed it most, without you I would have never reached the position I claim now. You're right though, I will not forget nor forgive this action. Stefjan, 'the Lost', has insulted our House's great name and our loyalty to each other. The blood of his own kin rests upon his hands and that is something I cannot forgive. I will avenge you brother, Drasko, and House Kovachev shall stand strong and defiant to the end!" ----- 838 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Stefjan Kovachev rushed towards his homestead after the death of his own kin by his own hands. The knot on his throat made him feel as if he couldn't breathe, his heart pounded as never before and it made him feel as if his chest was about to burst. Stefjan had ended the life of two persons who he genuinely cared about, besides his late wife and daughter whom his father took care of. The guilt of his own actions weighed on his shoulders as it had never done before. "My actions weren't against my kin, they were against my kingdom. Why did they had to hunt me down? They are now dead because of this." These words kept appearing in his mind as he laid on his bed, looking towards the ceiling with lost eyes, feeling sickly and weak. The anger that had made him leave Hanseti-Ruska grew bigger and it made an impact in his mind and body. Alas, he proved a point to the Norlandic people with the execution of two of his family members, a point that had to be proven.

HazelWazel 463 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Adrijana Amador sits silently in the darkness of her room, refusing to leave her spot next to the bright burning fire. She would open her eyes slowly, her maid stepping with her lunch, and a stack of letters. Waving off the food, she would place her hands out for the letters. After the maids exit, one by one she would turn to burn each of the letters, her eyes each time barely glancing over the seals. Mid-motion, she would halt, her eyes widening as she saw the familiar words and seal. Without missing a beat, she would quickly discard the other letters to the side, opening her uncle's letter with an excitement she had not felt since her husband had died. She would begin to read the letter, her face draining of both excitement and joy as she read. It would take her what felt like hours to digest the words written upon the parchment, her chest feeling tighter. "Oh Papej Drasko.. please not you too.."She would move to stand, turning to the windows to peer outside, before turning to her door. Pushing it open, she would look to her startled maids whom were more then shocked at the Lady's abrupt actions."Pozhaluysta will you ready me a cart. Inform Henrik, Ruslan, Diana and Jack that.. their uncle, Drasko is deceased. Inform all four of them they are more then welcome to come with me, I believe I need to go find the rest of my family. Spasibo."
Jentos 9422 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Faremyr Blackwood's eyes were kept upon the table of the Haensetic tavern, he remained silent, drumming his fingers upon the table, while a few tears slipped down his cheeks, drumming the table as they fell The old, barren, twisted and ashen bones of Jentos Blackwood stirred, the lich slamming a skeletal fist upon a pine tree, he had heard the news, and little by little, this once living man lost more and more love, more and more trust, into the living.
