Grand King Vows to Retake Kal’Omith

 

On the 11th of the Malin’s Welcome, Grand King Gror Ireheart vowed to retake Kal’Omith from the forces of the Deep Roads.

“It matters not who you belong to, whether you are a Frostbeard, Grandaxe, Irongut, or anyone else, we are dwedmar, this is our city! Together the dwarven clans shall work together to take back this city, this is our goal. I promise that Kal’Omith will be ours!”

 

This speech from the Grand King really riled up the dwarves outside of Kal’Omith. The Frostbeard Clan tried breaking through the gate to get into the city! Gror vowed to retake Kal’Omith no matter what, even if his life depended on it.

 

Legion retakes Kal’Omith

Just days after the motivational speech, the Legion retook Kal’Omith. The newly formed Legion with the Ascended battalion fought hordes of goblins. Under the lead of (Grand Marshal) Frerir Irongrinder, the goblin forces holding Kal’Omith retreated into the Deep Roads. Few dwarves had gotten injuries in this battle.  Grand King Gror Ireheart thanked the Legion for their recent victory, and stated that there was another battle to be had to clear out all of the goblins.

 

Veris Breaks Urguan's Treaty

Earlier this week Veris revoked all standing treaties. This comes right before the new Norlandic War. Grand King Gror Ireheart, shocked went to meet with the High Prince. We had a chance to speak with some Urguanite citizens after this meeting and here are some of the following reactions:

“This will go down in history and forevermark Veris as treaty breakers.”

“What happened?”

“There was four years yet on some of those treaties!”

As you can see, Urguanite citizens have pretty mixed views on this topic.
