Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?): Ingan Stryder, Ranger of the North

Character’s sex: (male or female?): Male

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.):  Dúnedain race

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!): 25 years of age.

 Server lore): (where does your character come from)?: Ingan was born around the Angle close to Rivendale. His Father was from Arnor and his mother was from Gondor. Both his parents died before he was even able to walk. His father died from fighting off orcs with a group of rangers but the orcs greatly outnumbered the rangers, only a few of the rangers came back to bring the bad news. The same orcs that killed Ingan’s father, attacked the small town Ingan, Ingan’s mother, and some of the other Dunedain’s were living in. The orcs killed many of the people in the town including Ingan’s mother who died protecting Ingan. Before Ingan’s mother died, she gave Ingan to a middle aged Ranger named Yriwn, that day forth Yriwn became Ingan’s father figure, training Ingan in the ways of the Ranger until Ingan became a Ranger too.

(Where have they traveled to?): Ingan has traveled mostly around the Angle but has been to Gondor, Rohan, Arnor, Mirkwood, and Rivendale. Ingan has also been around the shire helping the hobbits with small tasks.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks)?: Distant, Shy, and secretive at first but once he trusts them he becomes more humorous, cunning, good spirited/natured. Ingan can also be protective, brave, curious, thoughtful, and understanding. He is very smart and a deep thinker. Ingan is also someone that you wouldn’t want to be on their bad side, he can get very angry, and dark natured when in a bad mood, he always gets his revenge so watch what you do or say to him.

(Habits?): having conversations with animals like his horse. Fiddling with his silver oak leaf necklace. 

(Likes and dislikes?): Ingan likes many things, for example animals, archery, reading, being with nature, sword fighting, jokes, magic, elves, his friends and family. 

Ingan dislikes orcs, goblins, trolls, thieves, bandits, loosing his friends and family. 

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be)?: Ingan just wants to be the best Ranger he can be as well as ending the war.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at)?: Ingan is good at fighting with anything like; swords fists, axes, knives, spears, etc. He’s also a master at archery, stealth, cooking, camping, horseback riding, parkour. Ingan also has enhanced sensing abilities from training his senses to pick up the faintest movement, smell, taste, sound, or touch. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on)?: Close combat with more than one opponent. 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?): Ingan Is 5’9 and well built. He has fair skin, slightly tanned by being out a lot. His hair is wavy and blonde. His eyes are blue.

Sadly, my friend, your application has not been deemed acceptable by the standards of Lord of the Craft. However this doesn't mean you are prevented from applying again, despite the too many problems with your application, when you fix the mistakes, you will likely be accepted. 

 

1) Backstory: Despite the name, the setting of Lord of the Craft is not related to Lord of the Rings. I recommend reading some of the lore on the wiki, now I know it can be very daunting, so just read enough to understand the basics and learn the rest through asking questions in character.

 

2) Missing: You are missing your definitions for Metagaming, Powergaming, and Roleplaying. Please make sure you have all of the application format for it.
