A Reflection: "ur cringy af bro"

I'd like to start this post with a few words other than the title. I don't know if I'm quoting myself or someone else, so I'll just throw it here:

"You play Minecraft, hencefore, you're cringy."

 

And a lot of people simply forget the fact that they're on a game, which is Minecraft, which is also a PG 7. It doesn't really matters if you throw in anything, or try to defend yourself saying that it's roleplay, so therefore, it's less cringy. You're cringy and you'll always be cringy as long as you play Minecraft. Therefore, you don't have the right to call someone else cringy or edgy.

I honestly believe you have no grounds to cal this guy an "edgy kid", no matter how you look at it. Just like you, he's here to have fun. Yet, I'm not telling you to accept him on your society if he kills an elf to drink his blood, you just explain him the server standards; ever heard of how much the staff talks about player rentention?

 

You don't kill him twice, no, you stop killing him so he doesn't feels harrassed. Overall, Elftar Shadowblade Dragondeath can be a nice person if you sit down and talk with him instead of insulting or back talking him. "THIS GUY IS SO CRINGEY, OMG." Maybe other people also think that you look cringy, so you try so hard to the point of reducing your minecraft name to something very compact and using the occasional sunglasses on your skin to go around.

 

The server turns people into a standard machine, like any other, that can't be bent. We came to a point where we judge someone by being edgy or not at first sight. After we decide that someone is edgy or cringy, we shun and banish the person in question, telling him to "make a new character"

 

What isn't being edgy? Being ourselves, simply as that. You don't have to act cool, "tyep lik dis" or mock people for what they play to be a person that people look up to. You don't have to PvP or do something that others want you to which restricts you. Elftar Shadowblade Dragondeath could be a very nice person, if you told him only once, how disgustingly the server works. Calling someone cringy already defines you as a cringy person. You don't know the "edgy kid" standards, you don't know where he came from, you don't know his capacities, yet, you just tell him "Take off your hood and die, ******* weirdo ***** **** you make me angry kid you're cringy"

 

This kind of stuff makes you cringy because you're trying to be someone that you're not.

 

What's the conclusion? Everyone's edgy, I am edgy, we're all "edgy or cringey", because we all became the exact same thing, a copy paste of our veterans that we look up to once we join the server.

he's right though, the most fun i had on the server was when i had no self awareness and was 'edgy', just because i wasn't taking things too seriously. its just a game bro. if anything its sjw behaviour to try and make people conform to a certain way of rping so they're not 'cringy' or 'problematic' or whatever other buzzwords u wanna use.
