FloralHedgehog 493 Share Posted September 26, 2017 As you walk towards the noticeboard you see a slightly chubby halfling donning a plaid blouse. He would wait for most Halflings to arrive before starting his speech. “We’ve bin getting’ ‘arrased by dweds, takin’ ‘r friends ‘n familehs away! ‘n Dondoh’s bin ‘oled up ‘nside o’ his burrow fer ah don’ know ‘ow long! FlavoredSnacks 51 Share Posted September 26, 2017 Velvet Took says nothing as he stays barricaded inside his burrow, but would eventually pop out a few days later to see, going, "Oh, o-okie... G-good... I-I guess," And then panics and scurries back into his burrow.

winterblood 11181 Share Posted September 26, 2017 Nemir thinks back to when she visited Peterborough often in the early years of Vailor and in her life, remembering the time where she witnessed the halflings of the village take down an olog by pouring hot oil onto their head and poking at him with their farm tools. "Powerful."

"'Ey! Givin' 'alflin's food is meh job!" She'd chuckle a bit before returning to her smoking.

In Jornheim we have been accepting many halflings that are looking for jobs. In fact alot of the barmen in our tavern are halflings. Et es mi belive that as halflings are descendants ef Urguan even ef distant frem their origins they should be respected. These attacks en tha noble halfling population is dispicable and sounds like the work of the power hungry kingdom of Urguan. I pledge my Silverguards to the protection of the Halflings, if you would have us. These crimes most net go unpunished! The Halflings have been of great use to the Silvervein clan and have worked loyalty and faithfully by our side, we will not let harm come upon those that help our clan shine en these dark of times." One of your kin, Edel Silvervein has made multiple attempts to rob me of my freedom and branded me with your clan insignia. One of your supposed barstaff might have been Olive Burrows who was taken there against her will and was forced to work there. And I myself and Finnigan Brandybuck have talked to the Grand king of Urguan ourselves after we met him and his men inside of your walls when they where making an attempt to free any more slaves that had been imprisoned in Jornheim. If this is a mistake please do reply. Yours Truly, Harold Withfoot."
