[VTM] Looking For Players.

So about two months ago now I made a thread here (https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/164255-vtm-tabletop-rpg-interest-thread/) seeing who would be interested in trying out my Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game that I have been setting up, however it has been held back due to multiple reasons (mostly personal involving the passing of family member) but now I am back fully into this. Though that being said, it has changed a little, where it's setting is now in New York and in 1990's, rather than what it was prior. Another story-teller that I have been speaking with has given it a rather interesting summary that I believe sets it up well;

 

It's a story-heavy game and the setting is a slightly darker version than our reality - the focus on themes involving sex, drugs, violence, etc. is increased. The style of gameplay has a lot to do with intrigue, politics, social interactions, backstabbing, etc. etc. - you have to wind your way through a society of individuals that may be hundreds of years old and have contracts and relationships that you (as a younger Kindred) may barely be able to guess at. As a Kindred, you have to face your own humanity waning with time and avoid the temptation to abuse the new powers you have (Disciplines), as well as the effect blood has on you and its constant draw. This isn't "I'm a vampire" the game - it's "I'm embroiled in a confusing, chaotic society of powerful, clever, power-hungry creatures that I need to avoid, fight against, or submit to."
