John would rummage through his drawers, digging and looking for something. Soon finding parchment, he would begin pulling it out swiftly as he would place it on his desk. Continuing his search he would find and ink jar, and a quill. He would then pull open his drawer by his desk, pulling out matches as he struck one. Waving it over the candle as it begin to burn. He waved out the match as he sat down, begging to write.

'Dear fellow friends.' He would scribble on the parchment piece, shaking his head he balled it up and threw it. Reaching for another piece of parchment, he put it on the table continuing to write. Scribbling once more, he put 'My time now draws to a close.' Shaking his head he balled the parchment up and threw it. Soon he grabbed another piece of parchment, and as before scribbled words down. A smile formed on his face. 'Tis is how it should start', he thought in his head. Soon he continued to jot down more and more words, filling up the piece of parchment. Soon a whole letter was written, and smiled at his work as he folded it. He pushed some red wax in a small cup and held it over the candle as it began to melt. He would pour it over the letter, sealing it as he pressed his ring to it. Pressing in the Cantwell seal.

The letter would read:

"As I fear my time grows to an end, a time when I am to be reunited with my true love in the seven skies, I begin to write my will and finale testimony. I had a good life, made good friends as well as some good enemies. I as well shared hard times, with the good times. To Leo de Savin, it was an honor my liege. To serve by your side and to be your baron. May my son, bring you the same glory and honor as I have. Ibraheem and Auda, my two favorite Harians. I'm gonna miss you fellows. The glory we shared, wasn't of victory or conquest, it was of friendship and the memories we had. Make sure my story is sung in all taverns, Auda. I expect a damn good song, don't disappoint me. Alice, been some time since our first encounter, one that started our old friendship so many years ago. I believe if I am correct, I was your first friend. Something like that sticks with a person, stays with them all their lives. Seems it did, may you find peace upon the new of my death friend. Arayne, my dear cousin. We may have only shared half our blood, but you are still family. May you and your husband have long and wonderful lives with plenty of children to bring you smiles. Willem, I am sorry for my actions towards you when you left. I was enraged of how you could just throw everything away and run. Know I do not hate you, but I forgive you. May it bring you peace with my death. Elizabeth, it was good for you to return to my side. I was sad to see you depart, but I hope you and your child have long prosperous lives. May you remember the good times we shared, and not the troubles. Vander, or should I write Lady Vanderlise? You were a tough women, someone it took me years to understand. When I finally did, you weren't as bad as I thought. Got on my nerves at times, titles and all. But you were good, and were a great friend. Quillen my dear friend. The troubles we shared and the talks we had, you were a great friend through all my years. Always had my back and helped me through the troubled times. May you find peace in the years to come. Delmira, I am sorry I failed you. I should have been there when you were taken, I should have slaughtered them all, but I was to afraid. But I know now, that if I had the chance to redeem myself, I would do it a thousand times over. May you one day remember me, and all I had done. My son, Matthew, you are becoming a spittin image of your father. Tell your sister, everyday how I loved you both. Know I will always be watching from above, and you will never be alone my son. When your heart is filled with sorrow and pain, and you don't know which path to take, I will always be there to guide you. Take up my sword, and lead House Cantwell to glory my boy. And know you won't do it alone, little lord. Madison, my little warrior. Im proud of you, the women you have become. Make sure you remember me as well, and know I will always be close. Watch out for your brother as he watches out for you. Until Matthew finds a bride of his own, you will rule alongside him. As brother and sister, lead our house to the glory it deserves. Abraham, my grandfather, you are a fool. A God damn bloody fool, but I love you for it. Make sure you cheer those up who feel the most pain when I pass. They will need it Grandfather. And mother, don't think I forget about the women who birthed me. I am sorry for being the little ass I was as a child, and for what pain I caused you. I love you, and you raised me alone. The pain you went through, raising me alone, I never understood till I had children of my own. I love you mother, and I'm sorry if I am called home first. Dianna, I know many believe you are dead, but Mae knows you are not and so do I. I am sorry for the pain I caused. I was naive to the facts you held, to truth you needed. I forced you into things you did not want, when I should have just listened. Forgive me, sister. Forgive for the pain I caused to you. Too my other family, know I loved you all equally. You are my family after all, my very blood. May our family be remember for all ages, and our name be burned in history. May all you find peace in my passing, and will not forget me. May I as well find peace, and my troubles washed clean. Ave Santegia, Ave Blackwater!"

Signed,

Lord Johnathan Cantwell

A Cloaked figure would be sitting round a campfire, removing the hood from his face. Revealing it to be Thomas Tarsington-Keint.

"Farewell Johnathan, we were bound by blood for some time but now that time has ended. I thank you for looking after my daughter after my failed rebellion. I shall be with you soon in the next world, where we will spend our time drinking and recounting our war stories."

Alice received the letter with a frown as tears formed against the orbs that scanned the letter. ‘My Dear John. How I miss those days we spent in the towns park as kids. Thirty years of my life I spent with you and those will not be forgotten. Fare well flower  I will miss you so’

Word reaches Magnus' ears of Johnathan's death, siting by a table in the Ascended HQ "Farewell friend, may you Soul safely pass to the Seven Skies." He'd say signing, before geting up leaving only saying "Anouter one bites the dust."
