Pancakehz 2279 Share Posted February 12, 2018 [!] Letters are dispatched throughout Atlas, declaring these words and spreading them to Ascended near and far. To the Sage's Council of Ascended 15th of Sun's Smile, 1650 "The fact that I have to write to you in such a manner is disappointing to say the least. You have shown your moronic ways by following this simpleton of a Sage. Heial, as we all know him, is nothing more than a snake and an imbecile, blinded by his own gratuitous vendetta against one Belestram Sylvaeri, High Prince of the Dominion. The Ascended Order have set their own tenets and self-proclaimed them as the will of Aeriel. These falsities will not go unnoticed by the Ascended that still retain some bit of sense within their heads. You think us vacuous? You think us dull? You are mistaken and this will be your downfall. I now directly address the Council of Sages. YOU ARE BUFFOONS! I say this with confidence, as it is apparent through your disgraceful capitulation to the Sage of Tomfoolery. You follow his every command as if he were Aeriel herself. I will not succumb to such idiocy. The Sage's imprudence for personal revenge has left him unfit to hold the title which he currently possesses. His ineptitude in carrying the responsibility that has been bestowed upon him is simply astounding. The Sage of Tomfoolery is my Sage no more. If he wishes to lead the Ascended down a path of destruction through personal vendettas then let him face the consequences. Lastly, I wish to address the Sage personally. You think yourself above many, yet without any Ascended to guide, what are you? NOTHING. You indeed read that correctly Sage, you are NOTHING. You have shown your foolishness through belief in your own strength rather than the will of those who follow Aeriel. I say this now, you will not attempt the disconnection of Belestram Sylvaeri, lest I will rise against you and personally aid you in retrieving your head from your arse. The man you threaten with disconnection has done nothing but improve your order. Aeriel would wish nothing more than for him to continue service through any means he sees fit. If you wish for his disconnection, you will have to do so to me first. I leave you with this final warning Sage, not for my sake, for I care not whether I take you down or let you be, but rather for the sake of Belestram. For it would bring him nothing but pain to see his old friend fall to such depths of disgrace. Though in my mind, the depths of your faults cannot fall further, for they have reached the very pits of Iblees' domain." Signed, Duren, Ascended of Rapport and Sentinel of The Temple
The Media Wizard 2958 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Azoth Hawksong reads the missive, a frown prevalent on his features. He then nods slowly and folds the letter. He steps down the steps of his home, tossing it into the flames of the fireplace. The paper crackles and shudders as the fire consumes it, light radiating off of the aged mali's face. "... And now the world sees them as they are once more."

MunaZaldrizoti 8037 Share Posted February 12, 2018 "Simpleton?" Victoria Vientos would read the contents of the parchments before group of Ascended seated for lunch, "The man claiming my father to be a 'simpleton' is an Ascended whom, besides very brief appearances back in the isles of Axios, I forgot even existed. It would seem my good brother cannot speak himself, so he has his minions speak for him. And yet when he is done with them, they will be cast aside as quickly as his own family and, from what I hear, his own wife." She'd chuckle, a smirk on her lips, "How charming." Old-Rattlesnake 1534 Share Posted February 12, 2018 "Cielosoro, where have all the layabout Ascended gone? There's no one here." Called the Master Sage into the manor, to which A white-hooded man playing scrabble in the kitchen soon responded, "They've gone, Lord Sage. Allied with the traitor Belestram." The Sage pondered this a moment, then two, and three afore he spoke, "You mean he took all the Ascended that never did anything?" A somewhat confident affirmation followed, along with the sound of little letter blocks being arranged, "Indubitably, Lord Sage."
Pancakehz 2279 Author Share Posted February 12, 2018 Duren sits within a tavern, sipping a glass of water as his mortal friends drink ale. He looks to the left at a bag of many ghoul heads and trophies, the vast reward after a day of.... doing.... nothing.
Zacho 2177 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Dael'ran sits in his home, laughing his ass off at the letter "Ooooh man, gets me every time!" he snickers a few times, slapping his knee "You best watch yourself. This sage is coming for you. and all your little goonies too. "he snickered from where he was relaxing "Let it be known that you said he is nothing without the Ascended, well i count myself as one of his own, so therefore he is something. You have wronged, so has all the ones Belestram Ascended except Harlan oddly enough. First it was sleeping with frostwitches, which we forgave him for, then it was getting a position of power, which we were lax with at first, but now. Now it has become too much for my little ol' soul to ignore. So when you are ready to stop hiding behind a nation that you shouldn't run. Then come out and have some fun. Don't hide behind these public announcements, but yet, let the immortals fight the immortals, and let said mortals stay out of such a conflict. And don't sully the name of Rapport, you barely know what that word means." With Dael's long spiel he then laid down in bed and passed out asleep

ThatGuy_777 220 Share Posted February 12, 2018 An already very stressed looking Druid's features warp with further disgust after reading the parchment, hands drawing to his face as he thought "Politics...be...DAMNED!"Jordar reads the pamphlet, offering his new feline companion a perplexed look "Well 'Eial 'as been a grand man from my experience wit' 'im. Far from bein' compared to t'at Iblees bloke." He cackles, sounding a twinge tired "T'at blow'ard Balestram and 'is goon nae even 'ealed my wounds after dragging myself across t'e w'ole continent. Latter jus' rubbed my fore'ead wit' some s'it- er, s'abby nonsense before walking off." Remarks the aged Adherent, motioning for his companion to continue along down the road with him. Gone 869 Share Posted February 12, 2018 A cloaked woman strides down one of Atlas’ many roads when a stray pamphlet smacks her in the face. As she peels it off her a trio of eyes scan the first few words... Then the pamphlet PTSD of many years kicks in. She quickly turns back the way she came and runs for home, screaming. "Get th' fortifications!"

Suxals 529 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Angelo would be sitting on his couch of warm stone as a bird descends from the sky "Mhh... Another letter" He would say as it goes down to his table, leaving the and then flying towards it's cage, the former sage would open the letter and start to read it. "Mh... who might you be..." He would furrowed his brow as he tries for remember. "Oh, Duren, right... i have only seen you like four times in my life, but you really seem kinda funny" He would grin as he continues reading. "We had good times at Kal'Omith, its a shame that these modern times make us take sides" He would leave the letter on the table "To be honest i havent heard about any threat from their side, only from yours... but maybe thats just because i have been away from evebody... to be honest i get part of your complains against the sages, they are not the ones that i would have chosen but i am not screaming regarding that because i know that it would be pointless." He would get up, removing the clip of his cloak and allowing it to fall, the light that comes from his forge would illuminate his visage. "Maybe is my time to come back to action, i smell war in the air and i cant accept that." As he says this his gray eyes would start to slightly glow as golden flames would be seen running from within his iris.
