In adherence to ancient tradition, I Athedil Acal’elor challenge Cenwall Maeyr’onn for his position as Sohaer.

For years this child has reigned by false ideals, unable to understand the true path Larihei envisioned for her blessed people. He along with his incompetent council have let you astray, he has taken our people away from wisdom, away from knowledge, away from silver. Under his reign he has killed mali’aheral in acid, he has cast people in gold, he has shown that he is cursed with violence, much like the curse that rested on his ancestor Nelecar the Lion.

Instead of teaching his people he has lead you to war, wasting your lives for a pointless dream of power. Much like Kalenz the Butterfly he is cursed by gold, more focused on the affairs of lessers, than the development of his own people. He attempts to return us to a time that ultimately lead to the world seeing our kin as a sickness to be cured or cleansed by fire, seeking us out to do us harm and bringing us ever further from our ideals. It is time to look back my fellow ‘aheral, back to a time where we were true to maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, to a time where those words were set as a standard driving our people towards ever greater heights, instead of being used as an excuse for why we should rule over others.

The road forward from where we are now is full of hardships, unworthy ‘aheral and mali’ata have left our nation and its people in chaos and disorder, and it will take time to restore Haelun’or to a time where we were truly a beacon of scientific progress within this world, a time where we valued our neutrality and did our best to remain out of the destructive politics of the outside world.

Lucion the Worm once spoke of blessed neutrality, a state of politics where we sought relations with the outside world, yet stayed out of their wars. Was this not a better alternative to the needless deaths and suffering, caused by partaking in affairs that should have nothing to do with our people. Larihei taught us to shun violence as it was the weapon of lesser minds, we have no stake in their infighting, nothing to gain, nothing but a way to prove the impurity of this nation, and why it needs a change in leadership.

Upon hearing the news, Azoth Hawksong nods gently in admiration at the proclamation. He neatly folds the parchment and rests it atop a tower of other letters and missives. Leaning back in the oak and leather chair of his office, Azoth drums his fingers rhythmically in thought as the sun starts to rise across eastern plains...~

"Took someone long enough." Erendriel grumbles from some frozen wasteland.

Alem'sion from his seaside home would receive news of the proclamation pausing for a moment remarking "How unusually sensible for a resident of the Silver State these days" Finally setting aside his breakfast to relax for a minute in the warm air of his estate.

Varen'thal would hear news of the challenge, a wide smile permeating his features.

"Have you not heard, dearest Athedil?" he would write,"With the recent government changes, the Sohaer can only be removed via impeachment."

"An impure Sohaer and council cannot be allowed to rule, I challenge him not by right of our laws, but in adherence to ancient tradition." Athedil would write in reply, continuing with a small side note. "But I do not expect a banished impure murderer to understand such matters."

Eledar Haler'thilln strides upon the square, hands resting on his belt. He seemed calm and collected in despite of the news. In elcihi'thilln reigned order still, no unrest in the squares, no violent crowds clawing at the Council Building -- Yet a feeling of uncertainty held it's citizenry captive. How would the sitting Silver Council respond? What would the Ah'Sohaer answer? Was it's fall inevitable?

"I welcome our true Maheral -- Athedil Acal'elor back to the Motherland. May the blessed citizenry of Okarn'thilln join him in this struggle for purity and peace. Yet is not night. "

Following the small statement, Eledar Haler'thilln raises an hand to gain the attention of the present Elves once again.

"Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya, Mali'thill. Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya."

Varen'thal gets to writing, leaving no sudden retort for the mali'aheral.

White locks flew in fury as an enraged Aheral turns and slams the paper down on her desk. She seethes, purple eyes dark in anger. "How dare he think he can challenge us!" However, she paused, returning to calmness before sitting down. She reread the missive, sighing softly, "This is ridiculous. This man is crazy if he thinks he can take on the Sohaerate and win. Our people are stronger than he thinks!"

A breeze lifts the hair from the back of a certain golden tressed Mali'Aheral. She stares calmly at the paper before her, slender fingers smoothing it slightly. She lays it upon her desk and leans back in her chair. "It is about time someone stepped up to take the reins. This land is ruled by nothing but impurity and degenerates. The Sohaer has not been seen in at least a year, perhaps more. Why he is still allowed to rule is beyond me." She sighed, looking out at the beauty of Okarn'thilln out of her window, "Perhaps hope returns for the purity of the Mali'Aheral."

"Although he is an Acal'elor, it is better we have one who respects maehr'sae hiylun'ehya than this warmongering baboon we currently have as Sohaer." Avern'dionne would comment to some friends over tea "I feel ashamed to have once held the title this man holds now, he's a disgrace to our blessed people and the office which he holds."

"Sad. I almost wanted to see them crushed in a war to prove to themselves that they are weak. But then, we don't want to credit the Dominion of all filthy places with any victories now do we" hums Rhys, idly dangling his legs off the walls of Fenn
