Kalina would find herself reading one of these, "newspapers," at her desk within her tower, a freshly brewed cup of tea whipping steam over her dark stained desk. She would briefly ponder to herself its greater similarity to propaganda leaflets than newspapers before shrugging and starting to read down the article.

 

"Alice Addertongue..." She'd say slowly and disbelievingly , holding back a light laugh that followed. "Snaketongued, then, I can't believe they would give themselves such a fitting name for a reporter." She'd say before taking a sip of the tea. "Hmm..." She'd lean back, considering, "Perhaps this is meant to be a comedy newspaper? That would be interesting."

 

She'd read on, stopping again at the bit about taxes. "Ah yes, the high taxes that could be paid with a day's labor." She'd scoff, "And I don't recall ever building any slums, false political jargon." She'd decide.

 

Finally, she came to the end, reading over the new shops. "Ah, this must be meant to aggravate Artimec, great." She'd roll her eyes a bit before going to get up and move to leave her tower for some odd destination...
