Feast of the Resting King

Gallic

[!] A missive from the "throne" of Daeland.

Spoiler

To the clans of the Daels, and those who knew and loved he who now rests;

Come the crux of winter, we will be gathering to lay to rest one of the greatest leaders our united clans have known; Malcolm Gromach, Cyning of Daeland. We will hold our heads high and honor his passing with a feast held in celebration of his name; For without his guidance, whether Gromach, Drummond, Guthrie or Gallic, we would not have found unification once more. It was his hand who reached out to us, and it was his vision that reformed Daeland.

Those who wish to celebrate the fallen king may attend freely. Come drink to his honor.

A smaller secondary gathering will be held within the next few elven hours as of publishing this missive; A hunt in his name, to prepare for the feast.

- Gwion Gallic, Chief of the Gallic Clan, Cyning of Daeland

Conall Guthrie would look over the ledger as he sits in the Guthrie clanhall, his daughter sitting on his lap as he reads it. "Clan Guthrie will join tae honour our late Cyning."  He would let the ledger lie on the table as he would go upstairs to put his daughter to bed.

Rex Leydluk had the intent to go. . .but alas he was enclosed within the cold, stone walls of Skygodbirkenau. For at least a year now he had been toiling the nearby salt mines or peeling his daily quota of the millions of Billy Bob's potatoes ready for baking and further distribution. All whilst under the watchful, omniscient eye of the Skygod of Lard, Ty'thus.
