SeventhCircle 460 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Hello LotC, Today the World Development Team has decided to collect a bit of data regarding how people feel about certain distances when they travel them. With that aim, below is a link to a short google form filled with questions that ask you to rate each distance between 1 to 5. The goal of this feedback is to gather a general idea of how far away players like their locations(whether very close together or far away). We picked a wide variety of places some quite close to each other and others as far as away as possible to gather what we hope will be a wide berth of information. If there’s a question your unsure about answering because you haven’t taken that route before simply skip it. Anywho please take a minute or two to fill it out and thank you for your time! NotEvilAtAll 10906 Share Posted April 30, 2018 As a halfling and resident of Dunshire, I’m pretty okay with the travel distances between local areas such as Holm, Belvitz, Dunshire, and the CT. That's just the consequence of the admin team allowing it to happen. Fast travels are not the solution. JustMeMorgan 2067 Share Posted April 30, 2018 How about wayshrines Middle points from CT to cities, e.g. one near Retanus to get to Snelves and Santegia, One to the North to help to gos warhawkes, etc. None of that weird **** where you could just skip all bandit road rp like Axios And shorter journies anyway! Anyway these nations generally don't have the players because of their location. So their sort of a minority.) anyway there is something called S O U L S T O N E Yes it's an ingenious way to teleport around the map, if your bothered about long walking times. I think we should only have fast travels if we have a large map. (Mostly the size of tahn) Atlas is small enough as it is we dont need to have it be smaller. Horses are literally only good on roads and even than there pretty slow compared to vanilla horses,make horses great again make them fast even off road regions and increase their speed than we can use horses to travel distances fast but not kill roadside rp best of both worlds !!!! Banditry is stupid, and people congregate in cities most often anyway. The wayshrines would be a good compromise. I liked fast travel personally, but it would be alot of help if for example you could tp to a wayshrine only 500-100 blocks away rather than 3k away from a given outlier city.
