Ailred var Ruthern, the heir to Ruthern patriarch Rhys var Ruthern, succumbed to a bout of food poisoning early in the morning of the 2nd of the Amber Cold, 1672, leaving behind two twin children — a boy and a girl, named Demetrius and Elizaveta — who are of the age of seven, a two-year-old son named Alfric, and a one-year-old son called Viktor.

Following the death of Ailred, the Regency of the House has thusly been bestowed upon Ailred’s younger brother, Joren var Ruthern, in Rhys’s absence due to an illness of unknown origin.

Signed Joren var Ruthern, Regent of House Ruthern

Signed Rhys var Ruthern, Count of Metterden, Baron of Rostig, Lord of Helmholtz, Marshal of Haense

Liliana Bell would hear of the news, taking a moment to bow her head in mourning “Truly a tragic loss of a good man, my heart goes out to the children and family”

The young Ruthern child sat within the library of Haense, a place that had grown all to known to her over the years of studies. Though the child, here, felt at home. The keep that had fond memories granted to her, felt like a foreign place to her.. Elizaveta was confused as much as she was mourning. Her guardians told her one thing, whilst the whispers told another. Marking another day of her practices at the art of scribing, the child once more went to hide away. Mourning the loss of her 'papa'.
