Malgonious 2758 Share Posted December 17, 2018 The Firelands Campaign As we progress through the Firelands Campaign, I would like for those participating to fill out below a small table detailing their character and their involvement in the event so far. You will be reached out to for future interactions with the campaign and be given credit for the Role-Play you perform in my events because you are an active role in the campaign. I aim to highlight player contribution & inclusion, doing so will just make it easier to manage when I write summarized posts and continuance with planning the events to follow the series. Back-Story summarized for those not currently caught up is already made in a forum-post here: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/178177-the-firelands-campaign-pt-1-2/ BUT if you would like the ultra-sparknotes of the Campaign as it stands, that is detailed below in this spoiler. The Events of Malevolence had concluded with the slaying of the three Beasts from Beyond which arrived at the first cracking of the Wall. With these beastial lords slain by the hands of the descendants, all lesser creatures bound to their will in the Yatl Wastleland ran rampant, the first case being the Firelands. The Winter Frontier, as it had been dubbed upon their outpost of Fort Desperation between them and the Citadel Xionfall, convened one final time and in place put a powerful ward, The Winter Seal, upon the Dead Pass into the Firelands from the East, effectively sealing the chaos within the hellish valley. Time had past and the lost heroes from the Frontier had been transformed by their hatred, the seething rage of the Firelands warped their corpses, awoken with the by the burning heat of the Volcanic Peak.. Decades of abandonment changed these Pyre as they had come to be known, forever Exiled by their brethren by their own creation. Over time, the Pyre’s appearance began to change, their humanistic features slowly fading into hellfire and scorn, becoming creatures void of benevolence. Some Pyre began to embrace the destiny they were trapped too, others had accepted their forsaken fates.. This centers around two Pyre in particular; Scaldris and Balefas-See Forum post for more information- The Firelands is now in-control by a maddened Pyre who has now found a way to bypass the ward still present due to the bravery of those during pt 1 & 2 of the Firelands Campaign, he has begun activating the Volcanic Peak and using it to launch molten rock and hellish magic against all those that border his domain; See the Santegian Event With his domain still intact and the ward still active, he can continue to assault those bordering his seat of power by this new methodical form of warfare; Unconventional Artillery. Now it stands the Winter Frontier, disbanded after the encroaching of the Yatl Wasteland.. Scaldris has made an alliance with those coming from the Ebon Gate, the undead and beings of chaos that run rampant among the wasteland colluding with the wicked Pyre. With these two very real threats to your southern doorstep, it falls to you, Descendant, to champion your ideals and see to it Scaldris is defeated, his raging Firelands brought to heel..
