7.0 Moderation Update Pt. 2 (Transition Edition)

Hey all! Your friendly neighborhood admin here once again to announce a couple more things for 7.0. We have some things relating to moderation included, but also general information that is good to know. As a notice the server will be going down temporarily Wednesday morning the 27th as we begin our maintenance for 7.0. There has been a lot of preparation for this update to 1.13 and a lot of things can happen hence why we are taking down the server Wednesday to ensure that developers have enough time to do the switch over and ensure the launch can happen smoothly. Even if the server is ready Friday morning it will not go live until Saturday morning March 2nd. Below is a timeline that we are working off of. All subject to change of course.

February 25th - Nation builds need to be submitted to Seventh for them to be pasted in.

 

February 27th - Server will go down into development mode as we update to 1.13 and change maps.

 

February 27th through March 1st - Forums will undergo a large restructure and specific sections will be updated for Arcas.

 

March 2nd - Server will go live for the Arcas map release.

 

March 2nd through to April 1st - Warclaims will not be reviewed.

 

March 2nd to March 15th at 11:59pm EST - Raids will not be allowed.

Caleb has been going through some technical issues with his computer (rip hard drive) but below in this spoiler he’ll provide some information on that front!

 

 

 

Hey everyone, Flam here. For those who aren't in the LotC discord/haven't seen the announcement, my computer broke and I had to order a new hard drive. As such the conversion item process has been delayed till this weekend. I want to lay out what we're doing in terms of items as we're quickly approaching 7.0:
 

The conversion thread is now closed and I will be going through all of the submissions.

If you have not already, make sure your items are in your enderchest. I will be taking them this weekend and beginning the conversion process for everyone that has the items up. If you made a new submission and your items are not in your enderchest, I can not review them. Only exceptions for this are the people with the enderchest crashing bug or don’t have room in the enderchest, in which case you should make an LTreq next to the chest that contains your conversion items (note: I will not be accepting LTreqs made after the deadline’s date).
 

There is a high probability that your items will still be under the conversion process when the map transitions. If your items are still being converted by the 25th (Monday, American time), then I will be keeping them until after the map transitions as I want to ensure that people unable to get on during the week don't get shafted by having their items in their enderchest and being unable to get on to use /vault.

I understand that this means you will be going into the new map blind in regards to the items you may or may not have. As such, you will be allowed to fill in your vault with other items that you wish to take over. When we get to the new map, I will send you a forum PM covering what items made it through the conversion. You will then have to pick and choose the 18 items that you will be getting via your vault, regardless of what is in your current vault. Once you have responded to the forum PM, I will approve your vault in-game with the items that you want while removing the ones that you don't/go over the 18 limit.

Again, this only applies to those who do not receive their conversion items by Monday the 25th (American time).
