Yet, with the rise of the Empire, these evil nations have been wiped out and peace has reigned for some decades now. It seems as though the taint has been removed from society and civil nations can now live in peace.

“Peace is nice.” Vexalia decided whilst she read the copied missive from her bed during the middle of the night.

"I can see this one has knowledge ov Yemekar's balance. But this is done wrong I tell you. Ye cannot balance a fat dragon with a hundred skimpy dwarves. Rather a mediocre dragon, with fifty fat dwarves, or equally mediocre dwarves. We will see when time comes for the balance to be upset. When the dragon rises ye will wish it was slain in it's sleep." says a war wizened dwarf.

“Not entirely wrong, however I would say the Empire more akin to a dragon. A dragon cares not for the good of others, but the good of others may come about when unwise decide to provoke the dragon” Zata commented before taking a sip of her coffee and continuing to tell to her partner “At any moment this dragon could demolish everyone, but is kept busy by the internal strife they allowed to fester. I think if the empire survives this period of significant difficulty then we might see the benevolent creature this author writes about or at the very least a faction that has the humility to realize how precarious an empire truly is”
