[!] Notices would he nailed to posts in Haelun’or. Anyone who knew Vex would immediately be able to tell that the immaculate cursive handwriting belonged to her.

To the blessed citizenry of Haelun’or,

For many years, I was convinced mali’fenn blood flowed through my veins. I did not question it, only mourned the fact that I was not pure like my allies in Haelun’or. I was fooled by my adoptive mother, Tinuviel Atmorice’s words that I was one of her own. Her need to protect me in Fenn was understandable, and thus I do not hold this against her. Scanning through my old family archives, I would later discover that I was not the biological daughter of Tinuviel Atmorice and Lyuthir Drakon, but the true, biological daughter of two mali’thill, whose names were Aurielina and Gelebor Asul’Athri. The pair were mages, and scholars who worked in a clinic, much like myself for a period of time. It is to my understanding that both passed away in Atlas, failing to make it to safety in time. This fills me with regret, though it is with great pleasure that I now write to you as mali’thill, rather than mali’fenn.

I shall retain my old name, Vexalia, but out of respect for my families, I shall take neither name, instead going only by Vexalia, rather than Drakon, Atmorice or Asul’Athri. I look forward to my time ahead, now knowing of my true background and upbringing, and knowing that I am leaving a legacy for my dear deceased parents.

The Okarir'maehr crumped up the missive she happened to find on one of the trees, scoffing. "I've checked her eyes. She's not 'aheral. Besides, incredibly rude, ignoring my bird."

A certain Elfess wasted no time to blindly toss the missive in the fireplace of her quaint apartment, practically ridiculing the author for the message she published with loud chortles.

“By the love of anything almighty, maybe I can fool everybody with folly like this next.”

Jakkir Atmorice reads the note, brought to him by a small black cat curled up on his lap. He absent mindedly scratches the feline's ears. "At least I still have you old friend." He says mournfully, throwing a now empty wine bottle into his campfire.

Officer Grudgebeard hears of Vexalia’s determination of her true heritage via spirit math, and remarks angrily to Utak in the Urguan tavern, “This is why we ought to force a change in Haelun’or, makin’ folk think their race makes ‘em better or worse’n other folk by default. Aelthos lettin’ ‘em off the hook after Renatus dissolved, without havin’ ‘em make any changes te their culture...foolish.”

“To be honest, half the aheral in Haelun’or have been switching races, genders, last names... bah I don’t know if I even care anymore.” Velulaei’Ilum, the cutest Mali’thill comments.
