“For over a century, I have stood by my kin. Through all the trials and tribulations of our Princedom. I have served amongst the elite guard of Aelthir Tundrak second of his name. I ascended to command of my brothers and sisters in arms. Saw them through a successful campaign against Llyrian oathbreakers. And against an otherworldly enemy at the Talus Tear. I have seen all manner of things in this world, but still I serve. Yet, after all my successes Aelthos saw fit to stand me down until he needed me. As if I were some expendable puppet. The death of my closest friend Aelthir had left quite a mark on my heart and mind. I saw to honor his memory and lead my kin the best I could. But perhaps I hadn’t seen the entire picture. Perhaps my idea of continuing to lead the Ivae’fenn as he had was an improper way to do so. Perhaps the right way to honor him was carve a new path. To show the Mali’fenn, to show my kin that there is not only one path. I love the Mali’fenn, but if change does not come I will be fighting their battles forever. On this day, the 3rd of Snow’s Maiden, 1736. I Aesilnoth am relinquishing the name Tundrak, am relinquishing my command of the Ivae’fenn, and am relinquishing my position within the Princedom of Fenn. This might come as a shock to some, or all. But it is a necessity for my sanity. I can no longer bare the burden of watching my kin die under my command. So many names that become lost to time, but never to me. I shall continue my path in the name of Wyrvun, honoring the Mali’fenn’s immortal pact. For what is to come next, only time shall tell. But as of the present, I am leaving my home, my people, my kin behind. I love you all, thank you.“

Wyrvun L’ayla, Mali’fenn.

Signed, Aesilnoth.

If the letter is written in braille. Rymir would give one last respectful nod in the memory and ideals of The Former Grand Marshall. If not, he’d be blindly staring at a piece of paper. – Wondering why he was handed it.

Silir Uradir cackled.

“Aha! They fall apart from the inside. Alas, I fought alongside this Marshal of theirs – honorable, at the very least to their militant creed standards. I cannot say the same for their filthy leader that I mutilated in the fields of battle.”

“. . .” Allora goes back to gate duty.

A previous Snow Elven commandant chuckles as the ‘aheral woman goes back to sitting as usual.

A young snow elf frowned as she read over the letter. Biting her lip worriedly, she turned quickly for the gates, hastened steps soon taking her beyond the city’s walls.

Cassim raises an eyebrow at his snow owl with the letter in Sutica. He takes it, scans over it before he shakes his own head with a feint smile. Then he reaches out a hand to give his owl a pat on the head, "You don't have to give me letters that are about the Ivae'Fenn, Osi."

Datura Tathvir would nervously bite her lip at the words contained within the message.. “So Fenn seems to not be doing so well after I fled.. I wonder if I should return home soon or stay away..”

Kairn recalls facing down the Commander once on the field and offers a respectful nod upon hearing news of the missive,

”It is good to see that morality and good sense can persevere even in the most unexpected of places. Gods speed, Aesilnoth the Wanderer.”

"Rare is Mali' who walk far from their homes of the past. Walk forth with pride, 'Fenn. Your ancestors wanted more than a life of bloodshed. It is a shame not many see this." Says some ******* dark elf.

Leilatha peeked over Aesil’s shoulder as he wrote the letter, offering him a smile. “At least we get to go somewhere warmer”
