Axelu 4333 Share Posted October 28, 2019 THE ROYAL COURTS OF THE KINGDOM OF HANSETI-RUSKA -=- As penned by HIS EXCELLENCY, Ser Konrad Stafyr, Issued and Confirmed by HER MAJESTY, Queen Milena Ekaterina Barbanov IN THE INTEREST of the refinement of the Haeseni court, Her Majesty the Queen has deemed it both necessary and proper to formally reinstitute her former set of courtly guidelines in order to better suit the royal capital of the realm. Below, the officiators of Haeseni Court, and their respective duties, are outlined. The Grand Lady of the Royal Household - Princess Adryana Eleanor [[Disheartened]] A woman of the utmost repute, the Grand Lady is directly chosen by the Queen herself on behalf of the King to oversee the daily operations of the royal courts and household. She is in charge of managing and overseeing the servantry, ladies-in-waiting, pages, and governesses of the royal court. The health of the royal household is of paramount importance, and she is the one who is entrusted with safeguarding the health of the royal family. Governesses - The Governesses of the royal household are the tutors and caretakers of the children of the court. In their youth, the princes and princesses are cared for by these well-educated individuals who shall be frequently at their side. Ladies In Waiting - Ladies in Waiting are the attendants to that of the Queen’s needs, depending on what is deemed necessary by Her Majesty. Such pertains duties ranging from acting as a confidant to her personal care as she goes about her daily routine. Ladies in Waiting may also tend to the royal princesses of Haense if reckoned to do so by the Queen or the Grand Lady. Pages - Pages, likened to Ladies in Waiting, are male youths of noble stock who are assigned to study under the men of the Aulic Council and of the court. While serving the King’s councilors, these pages, oftentimes second or third sons of the realm’s noble lords, are to learn skill sets that will one day allow them to serve the realm as public officials in themselves. At the end of their time as a page, they shall be required to take the Haenseni Civil Service Exam administered by the Office of the Lord Palatine that will certify the validity of their credentials. Servantry - Servants will consist of multiple positions such as handmaidens, butlers, cooks, housemaids, and more. As the main staff of the royal household, they are required to tend to the needs of the royal family and other nobility of the palace. Their duties may change from each given role, but all are to be in attendance to those of the royal court. The Chamberlain - Lady Kamilla Julya Stafyr [[Sawona]] An administrative companion to the Grand Lady, the Chamberlain of the Royal Courts is tasked with organizing events for the palace, and kingdom, on behalf of the Queen. The artisans and scribes of the palace are therefore placed under their direct jurisdiction in order to assist in the successful execution of these events. Artisans - Artisans come as a broad spectrum of a variety of positions, including entertainers, musicians, painters, poets, actors, or any other cultural and artistic activity. Those under the category of Artisans are responsible for the entertainment and elegance of the court in fine art matters. Scribes - Scribes are to be those of the finest literacy and skill in writing. While under the office of the Chamberlain, they may be tasked to tend to other royals, or nobles, of the Haeseni court in their writing endeavors. Such may consist of but is not limited to, letters, documents, event announcements, and speeches.
