MISSION STATEMENT

The House of Basrid, appalled at the lackluster state of Imperial libraries, has hereby dedicated a large estate and amount of funds to bring knowledge back to Helena. This initiative is designed to foster a burgeoning class of Imperial scholars and humanists, encouraging them to cultivate a robust movement of new works in the advent of human modernity. It also celebrates the cultural richness of Orenia by displaying the unique frontiers and philosophies of the Empire as they coalesce into the larger cultural unity of Man. 

 

BOOKS

This scholastic initiative shall establish a sponsorship of circulating and publishing literary materials. As such, we are accepting any donations of written works and will compensate for buying books of all varieties and originalities. We will pay well for originals and supply costs for book copies. Any and all subject matter is permitted.

 

SCHOLARS & ARTISTS

The initiative is seeking out committed and passionate humanists to sponsor in order to encourage innovative thinking, productions in the arts, and cultivating a new intellectual class in the Holy Orenian Empire. Funds and space have been set aside to fund scholars and artists to come live in Helena and produce great new works. These works shall be showcased in the Imperial Library and published for their further circulation across the Imperial demesne.
