SECTION I - INTRODUCTION

This report comes as a result of an investigation led by the Auditor of the Tribunal, into the activities of the now deceased queen of Haense, Milena. This comes as a result of letters supposedly written by her that have been made public. The main question as a result of these letters is of King Andrik’s legitimacy and whether he is a barbanov and heir to the throne. This report, shall be set out similarly to my previous one on Suffonia, it will analyse all the proof and come to a conclusion at each section, with an ultimate and clear conclusion at the bottom for those who are too sloth to read the entirety of this report.

I have spoken to people in Helena and Haense as well as a few in Morsgrad, they attested to her character. I have also interviewed Andrik and his wife on this matter, in great depth. I have also read up on Barbanov traits, and examined which traits Andrik shares with his supposed father. All will be elaborated upon in this report. I urge all to read this report fully, may you learn lessons from and act on it.

SECTION II - CHARACTER WITNESSES

A key part of this investigation relies on character witnesses due to the fact I can not interview Milena herself. I have interviewed people from both Reza and Helena. Each were asked a set of questions related to her character and mannerism. There was a general consensus amongst those who I interviewed, that most of the populace loved her and loved her ideals. She was beloved by her populace and strove for greater influence over her husband's course. The later years of her life however, were in decline. She began to experience paranoia and depression, distancing herself from her husband and fleeing to Helena on numerous occasions for her cousins company. We were told by many of her seething hatred for Arianne of Kaedrin and that she dreaded becoming a dowager.

SECTION III - ANALYSIS OF MILENA

Similarly to my report on the Archduke of Suffonia, we will analyse Milena, her character, mannerisms and attitude. This analysis will solely be based upon eye-witness accounts, public letters and my own interactions. Milena was happy with her life when she became Queen. She was proud to rule at her husband's side, pulling them through war, hardship and the destruction of their old city and construction of their new one. However as time grew she wanted more, more power in the courts that her husband refuses to provide her. She then had her children and was satisfied for a short time, however this depression and paranoia overtook her when her son was promised to Arianne of Kaedrin, a girl that she despised.

Milena was solely focussed on court life, Arianne did not attend her tea parties of courtly lessons, and instead was learning the art of swordsmanship by Dame Winnifred. This angered Milena greatly for she believed that a woman who does not attend tea parties and other such activities is no woman at all, let alone should be permitted at court. We take the view that Milena put herself above others, fed and fueled by the luxury of her life whilst others froze in the snow. A Queen should be more focussed on the well-being of her people than petty tea parties.

Her narcissism fueled most of her actions, we believe she did anything within her very limited power, to keep Arianne from the throne and push for the current Queen instead. We believe she would spite her own son if it meant keeping Arianne off the throne, this will be elaborated upon further in this report.

SECTION IV - AUTHENTICITY OF LETTERS

As part of our investigation I encountered many who alleged the letters were false, published by a Morsgrad or another enemy state. For that reason we gathered any and all letters written by Queen Milena that we were able to get for the purpose of cross-examination. We spent days examining previous letters written by Milena and compared it to the ones supposedly written by her. We came to the conclusion that the letters published by the unknown source, presumably by the one whom the letter was addressed to, matched the writing-styles of Milena’s previous letters. They had the same layout, handwriting, spelling and wordining in addition to her signature which can be seen on some of her published letters as well as private ones. We thusly believe that the letters are authentic and written by Queen Milena some time before her death.

We believe the letters are real but do not mistake that for believing everything written in them are. We reviewed her letter alongside witness testimony to her mannerisms and behaviour and believe this was written a few saint weeks prior to her death when she was heavily depressed, such is evident in her writing and the claims she made within. We do however find it rather strange she was sending letters and confessing her supposed sins to her enemies, we wonder what other letters she sent during the waning years of her life.

SECTION V - HARLOTRY

In Milena’s letters she makes a number of confessions including harlotry in the capital city of Helena. She made various vexatious claims to her Morsgradi friend some of which we believe to be true and others false, for reasons which will be listed further in this report. However on the subject of harlotry and adultery we do believe her written confessions namely due to the timeline and eye-witness accounts who informed us of her mannerism and behaviour between the years of 1728 and 1740. We believe that after her second letter written in 1728 that relations between herself and her husband continued to deteriorate. Milena complains at how she only beds her husband once a month leading us to believe she was a lustful woman and when her needs were not satisfied she went to Helena in search of those who would satisfy her.

This of course being a deadly sin, a sin that Milena did not confess to us before her death. However we understand that this will arise many questions regarding Andrik’s legitimacy and if he was born as a result of incestuous relationships with her cousins or out of her harlotry. This will be covered in a separate section of our report.

SECTION VI - UNKNOWN SINS

Alongside Milena’s harlotry and adultery, we are greatly concerned over sins that we, the Canonist Church, have not been made aware of and the growing acceptance of sin. In her third letter she confesses to her Morsgradi friend that she committed adultery in Helena, a claim which we do believe is true. She also alleges that Andrik was not a child of the previous King, a claim which we will dissect and discuss in a separate section of our report. However Milena also confesses that this is just one sin of many but only confessed to the one. We do not recall a time where Milena actually head to a confessional booth to confess her sins to GOD, let alone to her friend. Milena’s soul is damned to the void for eternity, a consequence for her faithlessness and  greed.

Milena possessed the sins of greed, lust and vanity. Greed for Milena always strove to gain more power, she was hungry for it. Lust for Milena had a thirst for bed-activities, a thirst which was not quenched with her husband, a thirst she had to fulfill with strangers like a common street-caller. Vanity for Milena always cared what others think, she was a vain woman who cared more for her appearance than her well-being. She lived a lavish lifestyle of court sessions, state dinners and more.

SECTION VII - NOBILITY VS PIETY

Throughout human history we have had men and women who proclaim themselves to be the most pious and faithful, shepherds for GOD’s flock. We have had noble and kind Kings, devoted to GOD. However as of late we have noticed a rather worrying state of affairs happening to our nation's nobility. I have noticed a distinct lack of care for ones faith and GOD amongst the higher echelons of our society. Men attempt to stack as many titles to their name as possible, purely to flaunt their titles to feed their vanity. Men march throughout the capital city in fancy silks and powdered wigs whilst the poor suffer and go starving. Helena once housed a public farm in front of their city, however such farm has been blocked off from the public with a wall and gates, only accessible by a few rich individuals taking away a poor man's profit and food.

Recently a member of the imperial state army came to me to confess the grave sin of fornication, after having tried to initially deceive us regarding his actions. The man was given a task of self-flagellation for his penance and he accepted such willingly however shortly after I was threatened by his corporal who said he would behead me if any other is subject to such penance. I often find those surrounded in poverty and suffering to be the most pious of our society, for however much the rich and noble people of this empire proclaim to be pius, the poor are more so. One does not flaunt their spirituality and faithfulness, one has no need to for such shows through their good actions and deeds.

Milena’s actions are a great example of the state of our society, a Queen able to sin freely without punishment or recourse merely because of something she wears on her head and the man she married. A rich merchant of Helena was married to an elf by a dwarven brathmodakin after having been refused a marriage by the church and yet he roams free without punishment. I despise all nobles who proclaim to be the most pious of individuals yet do no physical action to support their claims. Let it be known yes you might sin in this world and be protected by your superiors or nobles, upon your death your soul will be damned to the void, just as Milena’s has been. It should also be known that those who refuse to repent their sins, encourage others to sin or protect others who have sinned, are themselves, eternally damned.

I have noticed however, that this seems to only be a trend amongst the nobles or high ranking officials of our society, the commoners or peasants of our cities remain ever devout and repentant. I am sure most of our societies nobles or high ranking officials are condemned to the void as a result of their actions for every time confessional sessions are announced they never show for they supposedly have no sins to atone for. You might have a secret affair with one of your relatives or community and have it never discovered to the churches eye, but it is discovered by GOD’s eye and you will be punished, if not on the physical plain then in the afterlife. This is why Queen Milena is damned to the void, this is why Emperor Augustus I and Empress Alexandria Horen are condemned to the void for their incestuous relations, it is why Emperor Philip I is forever condemned to the void for the murder of High Pontiff Theodosius II, it is why most of the higher echelons or our society will be condemned to the void lest they confess their sins before GOD at a confessional.

SECTION VIII - ANDRIK’S BLOOD

The topic of Andrik’s legitimacy to the throne of Haense has been a pivotal point of our investigation. Our previous statement regarding Milena’s harlotry may draw a great amount of confusion in regards to Andrik’s legitimacy, is he a product of harlotry? We do believe that Milena conducted her harlotry between the years of 1729 and 1740 between her second and third letters. We must first discuss why we believe Milena made the claim that Andrik is no barbanov. Previously in our report we touched upon Arianne of Kaedrin briefly, and will elaborate further upon this topic for it was one of the main points in which we used to come to our conclusion.

The previous King swore an agreement with the King of Kaedrin that he would betroth his son to his daughter, Arianne of Kaedrin, an idea that Milena was against. As the two began to grow Arianne would not do as Milena requested, choosing to train with a sword rather than attend her tea parties or lessons. Eye witness accounts report that Milena had a growing hatred for Arianne to the point of making her feel most unwelcome and insulting her in public before her citizens. One might be drawn to the conclusion that Milena would make this claim of Andrik’s blood to keep Arianne from ever becoming Queen, however such is refuted by a letter she had sent to Queen Maya stating that Andrik is the true King and she deserves to be Queen as it is her right.

We must also analyse the timeline, Milena’s first letter was written on the 4th of Sigismund’s End, 1728. In this letter she claims she grew distant from her husband and Kingdom, seeking out her cousins comfort. She also claims that she and her husband sleep together once a month in order to try and produce an heir, almost as if she was complaining about the lack of it. Andrik was born on the 9th of Owyn’s Light, 1729 and his sister two years later.

We take into account the usual pregnancy term of nine months. We believe that the date in which Andrik was conceived was on the month of Sigismund’s End, 1727. We believe this because Andrik was born on Owyn’s Light, 1729 and the average pregnancy term time is nine months, little over a year. We believe Milena was seven months pregnant at the time she had written her second letter so we are confused over why she had complained about trying to produce a heir with the King once a month, one would have presumed bed activities would have stopped at this point. Between 1728 and 1740 is a lot of time in which Milena could have conducted her sinful activities.

SECTION IX - CONCLUSION

To conclude, we believe that Milena’s letters are authentic, this mainly due to cross-examination of her previous letters. Her writing styles and language match the three letters recently published. We believe Milena is guilty of adultery and harlotry between the years of 1728 and 1740 and thus her soul is condemned to the void. Whilst we believe that Milena did commit adultery and harlotry, no child was born as a result. We believe that Milena had added the claim that Andrik was no barbanov in order to keep Arianne of Haense from becoming Queen, a person she had a seething hatred for.

We also believe that after analysing the timeline, family traits of house Barbanov and eye-witness accounts that testified to her activities during the time of her pregnancy, that Andrik is a legitimate Barbanov. We condemn Milena’s attempt to subvert the legitimate ruling of Haense in order to destabilize the Kingdom over her petty feud with another woman. Milena will forever remain a stain upon the Kingdoms history as a narcissistic woman who tried to delegitimize her son even in the afterlife, because of her own self-interest and greed. We do hereby dub Milena the title of:
