A Disturbing Revelation

Recommended Posts

Ratalei Maehr’tehral worked through the missive, committing excerpts to spare parchment.  “It is as written, between history’s lines.” His mouth hangs agape, clammy hand working furiously to deposit ink. “I am witness to Lareh’thilln’s apocalyptic decline.”

Alluin Miravaris-Seregon read the missive, a visible expression of shock gliding over his usually stern face as he read the name of his mal'onn. Alaion, could it be? How? However, the missive was not very clear with the exact accusations or the events that led to them. His hand trembled a little as he saw all the signatures. He had to speak to his brother. At once.

At the same time, doubts arose. Could it be true? Had he slacked in his duties as an officer by being blind to Alaion's intentions? But... It could not be.

Dele seeks the writers of the missive, signing her name too. She had noticed such odd changes in dear Alaion, the revelation made only brought these actions to the forefront of her mind. The oddness of his ways as of late... she seems sad, but she signs none the less.

Lareh’thilln seemed to be wading in blood now, and she wasn’t sure if she was ready for the tidal wave that is to come.

Baelithar ran his hands over the scars on his flesh as he put on his clothing. Next was his bronze mask and cloak, then his armor, shining as bright as the Silver City as the sun sets. His sword was strapped to his belt, his quiver on his back.

"Sooner than I expected. Some things that ought to take days, sometimes take centuries. But when 'thill of courage rise up..." he smiled, got on his black destrier and set out from his self-exile in Courland.

"It is time. A new hope rises..."

Goan Aldin reads the missive thoroughly until he got to the signatures. “Well that's just incorrect.” he remarks regarding Corvac being signed as Laurir.

“Fix yourselves, your stupidity is the same stupidity that killed Haelun’or before I came along.” The Laureh’onn shakes his head as he reads the missive. “Do not fall into the same traps the Humans do, you’d be worse than an impure for if you kill Haelun’or through infighting, for you’re not just halting progress, you’re regressing.” The former Sohaer leaves the city once more, as disappointed than when he returned.
