Trouble In Paradise…

“No one wants to see my success… is it out of fear? Jealousy? We will never know. I have been deprived of my speech, I have no tongue - my perfect ears have been mangled. Just when I thought I have been tortured enough, some others tried to deprive me and my well-wishers of paradise. They tried to frame me, they tried to ruin my name… they tried to take Millstone. Let this be shown as an example of what happens when someone tries to get in between a shepherd and his sheep. We will not leave survivors. Please, just let us have our paradise in peace!

~Evindal, The Shepherd of Millstone - After the battle of Millstone, 16th of Sun's Smile 1755

[!] The letter would have a small sigil at the bottom.

Sebastian the Wonk would open his mouth and his slimy hands would meet his cheeks, surprised at this letter sarcastically as he comments, “Nice read! This person is surely interesting!”

Ameen Al-Nabeel would be seated in his office, tired from a long day's journey " By Allah! So long as the Sheikhdom of Al-Faiz stands, we shall cut down all those who dare to inflict undo harm upon our brethren in Millstone!"

Hadvar av Mitteland reads the missive, already finding out about the Chels resigning from the AIS, he knew what had happened. "If Millstone needs any more protection it will be provided with said protection. As the designated Thane and head of the rangers, I see fit that the Chelovek union is now an enemy to our sacred, peaceful village. Be on guard at all times." Is the message he relayed to the other leaders of the AIS and his men in Millstone.

*Faye stares at the letter blankly as it was delivered at 5 am and she had not yet slept, she never ended up reading it.*

”hmm. I knew he should have lost his hands.” Elene says this, glancing to her cousins and older brother, shoulders still shaking with wroth. ”You will have your peace when you meet your maker, Evindal.” She then stands and paces across the room, a stiffness to her gait and slight sway to her balance that had not existed before the torture.

Spoiler

Unless you’re a mournstone with access to the manor you wouldn’t see this response, just for those who like to quote and reply from thin air. Cheers.

"I have no reservations killing those who threaten my life, my only regret is that at least one of them got away. I counted at least 6 of them but only 5 bodies." Janus said as he decided that cleaning his jacket of the blood wasn't going to work.
