TO DREAM

Godfric frowned as another Alimar was lost from the world. He never thought the last conversation he’d have with Maya would be over yet another death, he only wished the best for his cousin in life and knew she did not deserve such a fate, but the world was cruel and unfair. Haense suffered a significant loss with the death of their greatest Queen, her many accomplishments would not be forgotten.

Tears ran down the Alimar’s face as he sat silently in his manor, he hoped she would be happier in the Seven Skies.

”Rest well, Maya.”

“Life is a miserable thing.” uttered Sigismund in the middle of an office ruined and wrecked, a last bead of sweat finally slipping free from his cheeks, the expression upon his visage far beyond the norm – an ineffable sense of anger portrayed upon his person. He wipes away at his lips, smearing the blood from his knuckles upon his appearance in the process, slowly coming to his senses. In a shaky attempt to regain his composure, the King straightens his overcoat, pats his leg wear down, and emerges from his office, muttering to himself repeatedly in a near crazed stupor, “Think of the siblings, think of the siblings, think of the siblings, think of the siblings...”

Mary d’Arkent hears news of the Queen-Mother’s passing from the shouts of Helena’s square. Amidst her work, she’d pause- allowing for a moment of stillness. Maya had been, at times, the woman’s only confidant. Though very nearly the same age, she’d been wise in everywhere Mary was not, strong in everywhere she was weak.

Mary allowed a moment- just a moment, to still herself of work and think only of her friend.

Upon being informed of the abrupt passing of the reputable Queen-Mother, a lively childling by the name of Amalie Lovisa found herself in a flurry of tears.

”No, no...” the youth protested, “Not my favorite Alimar!” Amalie exclaimed, shaking her head with great fervor.

As Amalie’s mother began to comfort her, she suddenly stopped her display of melancholy. The girl then wiped her own tears and attempted to lock eyes with her mother,

“Wait...” she began, lofting a brow, “She liked taking me to church – she is probably just hiding there. We can check later!” the girl declared with great confidence.

The mother of the very self-assured little one, Margaret of Kaedrin, opted to simply nod her head and continue to embrace her daughter.

Rennard Amador would be sitting in his office up within the palace going over the endless supply of paperwork and records as he sits in his chair. A palace servant goes banging on his door quite loudly, causing him to jump in a somewhat shock before responding Yes?” to the servant. The servant walks in handing him a small letter informing him of the Mayas' passing.

Rennard looks up to the servant tears falling from his eyes as he proceeds to yell at the servant taking out his anger, frustration and sadness upon the poor soul of the palace servant. The servant quickly leaves the office as he does so.

A mess of paperwork fills the room as he sweeps everything off his desk in one fell swoop. Rennard would mumble out in his sadness GOD bless the soul of Maya, I can never forget our endless chats within the beautiful garden of the palace…” his anger quickly subsiding a mess of tears falling from his face, as he goes pulling out a cigar from the desk cupboard. Lighting the cigar, a quiet mumbling from his voice as he puffs away “I hope to make the trip to meet you in the Seven skies one day…” he would remain locked within his office slowly puffing away on the cigar as tears fall from his eyes.

A familiar old elf would be sitting comfortably in his living quarters, in Helena. As he comes across the paper sprawled across his desk, he would double take the paper, thinking his vision had failed him. However, as he would read for a second time, the realization began to dawn on him and he sets the paper down on the table, gazing into the fireplace with a pensive look drawn upon his sapphire hues I find it so hard to believe that another pure soul has been claimed by the skies above.  he muses quietly, admiring the crackles of the fire as he reminisces their prior encounters  Such a wonderful person, gone much too soon.” the elf adds, before getting up from his seat to stare out the window of his study, frowning ”Oh Maya, I am certain that your God looks upon your righteousness and eternal kindness with utmost pleasure and happiness. You leave behind many that care for you and perhaps even rely on you, your absence will be difficult for many to overcome. But I have myself full confidence that you are in a much better place, truly happy and free from the burdens of the world, so while it is necessary to mourn your loss, we must also rejoice that you are in a better place. Rest well, good friend, and may your legacy and kindhearted soul be forever remembered in the many lives you touched. I am grateful to have met you. He adds, focus fixated on the rain outside the window, pouring from the heavens above. Almost as if the realm itself was awash in tears

An Akritian stood with his arms crossed, embracing one of the victim’s family members. “The utter disrespect shown to Her Majesty by the chief representative of Imperials is lower than I’d ever anticipated from them. The agreement of vassalage is reciprocal, is it not? If I am your guardian, I would not enter your home, infringe upon your territory, and try to vandalize it.”

“Its a long, hard dusty road, you'll journey on through a world you never known. Only time will tell you if or not if your life has been in vain. Each morning sunrise brings question and quiery and each sunset brings you more doubts. Always you're searching for what, you're not even sure, melting away like an icicle on fiiiiiiiiire. Oooooh.” mentioned Thomas.
