Capture of the Mine - Brigands

[ CALLING ALL ADVENTURERS ]

 

As of recent, one of our mining holdings was taken over by a bunch of brigands. Those that survived are currently captured by the Brigands and are forced to work the mines. This mine in particular may have some interest to parties that wish to expand their own might in warfare, if you clear out the establishment we will happily look to try and set up your own mining company in place of our own. We have realised we need protection from outside sources. No reward is offered, just the chance to own this place that you potentially capture and rescue from these brigands!

 

We are unsure of the contents of the mine specifically, but it holds properties of fire and can be utilised in weapons. We had a stockpile of excess powder and some of the ores that we mined under careful work. These would be all yours, if you wish to help us with this plea. The mine is located in the Northern plateau past the Cloud Temple. I do wish you luck!

Battles and conflicts have ravaged the mine and the Brigands that laid there. Though, the constant stream of migrants and others was seen from the distance. Constant caravans of supplies and men in tow would be seen from the roads.

 

Rumors of the establishment of a trading company have flooded this, as lost and wandering descendants end up finding themselves on the border of the camp. Looking to strike riches, or to find a home. The constant economical benefit of the mine has lead to expansion and plans to secure their foothold stronger into the area. What this means for descendants is unknown, but only time will tell.

Nothing remained of the camp that carried life, sulfur and blood stained the air from the horrors that were completed on that faithful day. The 14^th of the Grand Harvest, 1764. For the Brigands that took the mine had now disappeared, so had any remaining business connections or attempts at peace. The place is only remembered as the haunting site of the Boom-Hill Massacre, to either be written into history or forgotten. Where decomposing corpses of children and women would be embedded in tents, with others being buried by others that roamed to this site.

 

What was it for? Was there any benefit to this slaughter?

 

Only time will tell.
