'Orenia!' - An Ode, to Oren!

Recommended Posts

‘Orenia!’

Composed by Keaton II Errmark

Orenia! Orenia!

The greatest of countries!

Where, at the sight of enemies,

We wince and knock our knees!

Orenia! Orenia! Land of brave and free,

Unless they don’t outnumber you,

At least ten to three!

Orenia, I did once sight you,

On the lake’s vast shore!

Your terracotta, glass and steel

Were really quite the bore.

Your architecture? Stifling!

Your decorations? A drag!

At least you have great toilet paper

With your soft-silk purple flag!

CHORUS: Orenia! Orenia!

The greatest of countries!

Where, at the sight of enemies,

We wince and knock our knees!

Orenia! Orenia! Land of brave and free,

Unless they don’t outnumber you,

At least ten to three!

I once did have the pleasure,

To meet His Majesty!

Weak and weedy and gangly,

And barely five foot three!

I won't mention his Barons

Dukes, Princes, ‘cause see

Amongst all the pompous pricks in Oren

I could barely make out three!

CHORUS: Orenia! Orenia!

The greatest of countries!

Where, at the sight of enemies,

We wince and knock our knees!

Orenia! Orenia! Land of brave and free,

Unless they don’t outnumber you,

At least ten to three!

And now the Orenians declare their war,

And say they will bring order,

They’ll have some trouble taking Sutica

‘Cause they haven’t even left their border!

Soon as they saw our alliance,

Our many bravest men,

They turned and cried (and plenty died!)

And they went routing back home again!

CHORUS x2: Orenia! Orenia!

The greatest of countries!

Where, at the sight of enemies,

We wince and knock our knees!

Orenia! Orenia! Land of brave and free,

Unless they don’t outnumber you,

By atleast thirty!

Orenia! Orenia!

The greatest of countries!

Where, at the sight of enemies,

We wince and knock our knees!

Orenia! Orenia! Land of brave and free,

Unless they don’t outnumber you,

By atleast fifty!
