Yuliya had locked herself inside her dungeon-like basement apartment for the last several weeks. She needed utter isolation in order to craft the play that would surely be her masterpiece – the final installment in her Crow’s Daughter trilogy. When her roommate James slipped the invitation under her door, she was inclined first to fuss at him for disturbing her... until she saw the elegant, looping script on the parchment.

He records the date and gazes at his wife and children prancing about the gardens. “I am happy everything was able to settle and wish happiness to be showered upon these two.”
