On the topic of Matriarch

A growing specter in Haelunor, Ivoriel, looks out from the balcony of the Elibar’acal manor while dressed in her morning clothes, a cup of tea freshly brewed in her right hand. A thought had been present on her mind for the last fourth night, a clinging dread, a duty she must do but has gone undone, only exacerbated due to the recent dealings with a ‘ata she no longer wished to think of as it only brought her duress. She shook her head, returning inside the manor to fetch a quill and paper, writing a proper notif once and for all through the night.

“Dear my fellow ‘aheral,
It might have come to your attention as of late that there has been a change in the Elibar’acal talonnii, indeed I wish to properly state the affairs that have gone on, and put to rest rumors of my successor gaining the position of matriarch through unjust means. Ne, that can’t be any further from the truth. In my tired state I simply failed to make proper announcements of the change of hands, which I shall do now. I, Ivoriel Elibar’acal, formally relinquish my title as Laurir and Matriarch of the Elibar’acal talonnii to one Daerine Elibar’acal.”

The letter read simply, though the elfess did wonder if she should’ve included more, but quite frankly she was tired. She put on a cloak and made her way outside the manor, coughing just slightly as she hangs the announcement up.

[OOC]
So work has started taken up most of my time as of late, which hasn’t allowed me to get on LoTC as much anymore sadly, and because I didn’t want my family to stagnate I handed over the title to Vic, however I uh- forgot to make an actual announcement for it, so apologies for any confusion! ^^;

A fluttering bird soars far from the glistening walls of the Silver City, delivering a copy of the missive to a hooded figure. Weary eyes looked through its contents with scrutiny, having eluded himself from the recent affairs of Elcihi’thilln, some semblance of news in his many months, perhaps years of  distance.

Upon its conclusion, the estranged Uradir mutters a singular phrase to himself as he rose from his place, departing to continue his travels.

“She was good, Ivoriel, mayilu.

Seth walks down the street, stopping as he noticed the poster, nodding in adknowledgement of it and continued on his day, his thoughts on the inside Elibar’acal politics, as non-existing as before. But now he hoped the elfess would make a recovery.

[!] In a room in the Elibar’acal Manor

Adran Elibar’acal would wake as usual early in the morning a bit grumpy because it was his off day, as he turned to see the other side of the bed he’d seen that his wife, Maeve, has gone to work already. As he gets dressed looking like a mess he’d put on some slips before heading to the kitchen to make some coffee. He noticed a document pinned in the kitchen, as he sat down at the table with his coffee he’d went ahead and read the document “Oh.” he said raising his brow “Well I hope Maeve is feeling alright about this.”

Grishnaakh’Raguk spared but seconds of his times in appreciation of the missive, having renounced the name and teachings of Larihei Lomahnih for those of Krug and his pantheon of spirits; Levaz and Jevex, in particular. For, it’d been many long winters, and the glimmering of several dozen, possibly hundreds, Ilzpaak in the sky’s hue of a glorious black, and many thoughts since he last offered an eighth o’ sympathy for his brothers and sisters in ilk. What good would come from the praise of a fallen child to enemy? What good would come from sympathy for a clan that once hunted those of my ire? Had she taken the path of Krug and Maehr, then such a horrific fate may not have befallen upon her. May Aeriel take the rest of the ‘thill, and may they go on to rest in the High Hells, with the bûrz. Grishnaakh thought to himself, little particular sadness coming to himself; only spite in others’ moment of morose.
