18th of HARREN’S FOLLEY, 1807

Lo and behold, for the state of our empire is strong. In our current bureaucratic nature of efficient governance, there exists a responsibility between the government and the Imperial Diet, and with such, accountability to the governed, through confidence within formation of a government as sought by previous convention. Thus, We invite His Imperial Excellency the Archchancellor to the House of Commons, to deliver information pertinent to such a strong relationship, on this Harren's Folley of 1807.

In order to discuss the status of Our Commonwealth, and to lay out plans for the future, the House of Commons invites Archchancellor Sir Franz Nikolai de Sarkozy KM to give his annual speech, in spirit of such a tradition and in the name of His Imperial Majesty Joseph II. This speech, known as the State of the Empire address, is a new tradition established by Sir Simon Basrid GCHE during his tenure as Archchancellor.

Signed,

The President of the House of Commons,

[Come to the Providence Courthouse at 7 p.m. EST on Friday (19th) to witness this event.]

"You're about to watch your old man bring a whole crowd to tears," Franz says to his youngest son as he makes breakfast for the two. "And NO, it WON'T be out of boredom."

"I hope that His Imperial Excellency the Archchancellor mentions his plans to revitalize the Imperial Judiciary. I think that my idea of introducing a Bill to assign a salary to Magistrates, Circuit Judges (and update the salary of the Supreme Court Justices in the Non Partisan Courts Act) would encourage people to assume those offices in our judicial branch of government"

Sir Edward Galbraith would say as he hears the news, before continuing his speech:

"I, Edward Galbraith, who was not paid a single Mark during my almost two decades of service as Circuit Judge of Oren know very well how abandoned the functionaries of the judiciary have felt"

The old man would conclude before marking the date of the State of the Empire Address in his personal agenda.

"I, Basileios Baelius, who was not paid a single mark during my almost four decades of service in law of Oren know very well how abandoned the functionaries of the judiciary have felt." mocked the former Chief Justice with a shake of his head. "Where did the ideals of statesmanship and honour to serve ones country disappear to -- all the people of Oren think about is more and more Mark. Shame on those people." before walking back to his office.

"Well, I hope it's good news! But that's too much to hope, for it to be all good news...hm. Perhaps I can wish it to go off smoothly without a hitch? Perhaps I'll wish it simply to keep the masses pleased, for it to paint a picture to the nation of a glorious and bright future, blueprints in a sense, for a new frontier of advancement and progress in our Empire, so we may see each one of our individual citizens thrive and prosper, but then again- I suppose I hope too much."

Beryl Carrington would remark, as he read the missive from his office, holding a handful of seed out to his various exotic birds, kept in a large brass cage across his office from him as he clutched the paper, and sighed.

"Perhaps it best to just wish that it goes well, and leave it simply at that ai?"

"I'm not even asking the money for me. I'm only saying that certainly a salary would encourage people to become and actively work as Circuit Judges because the Central Circuit Court currently has 0 Judges. When our Imperial State has a problem like this one, the fact that none works to become a Judge, the first step in order to solve it is to recognize the problem and its causes."
