The Varhelm-Yong Ping Ferry Line

It is with great pleasure that we announce the official opening of the ferry route between the capital of Norland, Varhelm, and the picturesque City-State of Yong Ping. The first route of its kind on Almaris, the journey will take passengers through the winding riverways and out to sea, connecting the North and South of the mainland. The fare for the journey will be set at 3 mina both directions, making it an affordable, convenient trip for all to enjoy.

 

To celebrate the opening of the line, a festival will be held in the coming days, beginning in Varhelm. Food, drink and song will be available to all attendees, and temporary stands will be placed throughout the city for merchants to sell their wares during the festivities. This portion of the festival will conclude with the ship herself, San Sui-ren, receiving blessings in both the traditions of the Red Faith and the Li-ren, to wish upon her a long, safe and auspicious career. Following the ceremony, attendees will then travel on the ship herself to Yong Ping for a reception and continuation of the festivities. All who wish to come are invited to attend either or both parts of the evening’s festivities. In order to reserve a stall, please contact the Master of Keys, Sylvia Camian.

The ferry between Norland and Yong Ping is open, and can be used by anyone for the price of 3 mina. This mina will need to be in your inventory. The ferry can be found immediately upon entering Varhelm, and at the docks in Yong Ping.

 

The festival will be Saturday, March 27th at 6 PM EST.
