WHO YOU GONNA CALL?

One dark night in providence, our city fell under attack, not by the blades of Heathen Nordlings, though they have tried and failed, not by lonesome bandits, looking to throw themselves needlessly at the Imperial State Army. But by a force of which unnatural and paranormal, decided to attack and burn down the providence hospital. Such attack on our life must be responded with, thus under the guidance of the Director of IBI, Ministry of Justice agents swiftly mobilized and moved into the forest.

Firsthand account of the battle that ensued

Swiftly and efficiently the Agents moved, to eliminate three spirits hostile towards them. Securing the forest and restoring safety and order in that region of the Empire. Once more our agents have heard the call of duty and ensured the safety of the citizens of the Empire.  Let it be known, that the Ministry of Justice is ready and capable to rise to every new threat that is thrown at the people of the Holy Orenian Empire.

With the danger of the supernatural present, the Ministry of Justice is proud to announce the creation of the Ministry of Justice, Ghost Hunters, a unit specialized in the combating of spirits and other worldly entities that pose a threat to life. For when there is something strange, where you reside, your home feels weird, and it don't feel good. Who are you going to call? The Ministry of Justice Ghost Hunters. Now in full operation.

Signed,

Garret Darkwood

The Bygone Lord hovered in the rubble of the hospital; still under repair, following the months, almost a year, after the three attacks it'd done. That malignant husk chortled, grinding a chunk of debris beneath its boot, as it turned toward the other figures beside it.

"Brethren,

We've a new target."

Boreal, having been absolutely bodied by a ghostly bear, after trying to convince people not to attack, they were tired, distracted, the beasts they had just had a visceral conversation with were slaughtered, yet they were not angered at the agents, having delivered one of the killing blows to the poor bear's skull, they knew there was not much to do in that case, yet it still pained them, they felt the bear's pain as life drained from their form once more.

The Solicitor-General would applaud the decision of the Director of the Imperial Bureau of Investigation to create the Ghost Hunter Units of the Imperial Constabulary in order to erradicate the dark spirits that wander within the lands of the Imperial Oren:

"A very necessary measure that I am sure the people of our country will appreciate. Thank you, Ghost Hunters!" he would remark to his agents, before wishing them luck in their noble mission.

The Chief Commissioner leaned back upon his chair within the domain of his office clenching the bridge of his nose in disbelief and slight anger. “They approved a Ghost hunting unit but my armory can’t even be classified as a part of my branch?”

Archadon Dimitri would look over the missive and scoff. "Ghosts aren't real," he'd call out audibly - though no one could hear him, for he was alone, once again, at his kitchen counter. Sighing, he'd try again to pick up the empty mug - to no avail. His hands trembled as he grasped onto the kitchen counter, devolving into a fit of hysterics, laughing himself down to the floor. Though he tried, he couldn't bring himself to cry.

After a while, he slapped himself across the face, snapping him out of his episode. "Alright. No more of this," he'd say, pulling himself back up. He'd gaze over to his prep area, where a gauntlet lay, plated along its knuckles with aurum. A smile crept across Archadon's face.

"This one's going to be really funny."

Some peculiar canine would tilt its head at the missive, that black shuck clearly confounded by the sight that lay 'afore it.

"What in all of the hells...?"

"Ghost hunters? It'd suprise me if half of them even knew what kinds of ghosts there are! Let alone that they exist," chuckled Zita to her husband, the Count of Valles. @grnappa

“Perhaps if I do not marry and medicine does not work out for me, I could pursue this as a career! Elodie de Rosius would half-joke.

It certainly would satisfy my need to feel like I’m helping my family. ”
