 The cornerstone of modern Imperial diplomacy is the diplomatic mission, invented by the Second Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Marcus de Rubrum. As ordained by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, a diplomatic mission is defined as a congregation of state officials located within a state that is foreign to them with official duties to represent the originating state in matters of state. 

 

Since the rise and fall of our Orenian Empires, many facets have remained still through time - yet what stays true is the act of chivalry. Within our historic periods, the heart of chivalry was encompassed by wining and dining with prominent figures of yore. Indubitably, the same logic is applicable today. After all, chivalry has no purpose if not to treat our Imperial allies with the same respect. 

 

As established by the Foreign Minister, the Viscount of Pruvia-Provins, the State Dinner is a decennial tradition that celebrates the treatise of diplomacy. Entailed in this invitation are separate opportunites to dine with His Imperial Majesty’s Council of State, an occasion reserved for individuals most pristine, that of the Empire’s allies. Naturally, these entities are each invited to enjoy an exquisite night within the Augustine at a date agreed upon by the diplomatic functionaries of both respective governments.
