[!] A scroll, tattered and ripped on its edges came to be found everywhere, nowhere, and in the most peculiar of places… It was clearly the continuation to something long and great, scrawled in fine print with elegant silver ink. The top of the scroll was torn, alluding one to believe that the first piece could be found elsewhere.

[!] A detailed work of art, depicting a mother bearing the flaxen flower of thought and word.

Rolling over the hills did the scourge of time come, wielding spears, shields, swords, and battleaxes. The host was like a silhouette as black as the night’s sky, and the numerous eyes and teeth were its stars… Chants and enraged prayers resounded throughout the battlefield like the crackling of a never-ending fire, where the kings laid down their weapons and waited before The Gates of GOD, the princes still fought, steadfast in their cries, and the men and women were but pawns; true death had been embraced long ago. This was just the death of flesh. Their souls and being died long ago, before they could even remember - for such is the plague of man, their hearts consumed in sin and driven to fallacy by the serpent whose head adorns a mane of fire and a maw of emerald.

It is he who has driven this world into disrepair. It is he who hides behind a veil of earthen objects, and in turn subjects The World to a constant unknowing, and even naiveness of that which truly is. It is he who has shrouded TRUTH behind a blanket of words, thoughts, and powers, depriving us mortals of our BIRTHRIGHT. As something that exists within the material plane, it is our RIGHT to exist. But do we truly exist if we cannot see existence? If we cannot see nor comprehend reality? These things have been stolen from us. Are we free if we cannot see because of our own folly?

The answer is no, because it is not due to our folly that we cannot see. It is due to the one who tricked us, deceived us, but also birthed us and was responsible for our inevitable demise. The one who served only itself, but is also us, for we are mere derivatives and extensions of it.

It is The Spirit,

Whose words move mountains but is rarely spoken,

Whose mind can think and in turn exist,

Who may only commune through symbols,

And use thought as a canvas.

This we know and see,

But nothing beyond,

The Spirit is the key,

Which resides within,

So run quick, flee

FLEE and cower from this daunting epilogue.

What does it mean to see?

[!] And there the scroll was ripped...

A high elven scholar takes up the scroll and raises a brow. Curious, he takes a great deal of time reading it before placing a copy of it into his own private library. No doubt such a work of philosophy interested the slow aging scholar of Eu-Ras.
