On this Tov and Yermey of 399 E.S. Erwin Bishop, a squire of the Knightly Order of the Crow, has been assigned his final trial to prove himself worthy of being dubbed as a Crow Knight by his Royal Majesty, Koeng Sigismund III. To prove his worth before God and Kongzem, he is charged with seeking out a monster that has been sighted in the hills on the Haeseni-Orenian border between Dobrov and Reinmar. 

 

Wayward reports from shepherds and goat-herders have made their way to the marches, leaving peasants frenzied over stories of some unnamed behemoth in the hills. Those in the hills themselves have had their farms torn apart, their huts ransacked, and the roads abandoned from the prowlings of this nocturnal-beast. Though traditionally a squire is well-informed of what beast they shall hunt for their Knight's Quest so that they might adequately prepare, the Knight's Table sees fit to charge Firr Erwin with this added difficulty in recognition of his sharp mind. Whether he shall excel shall be proven only when he ventures forth to track and slay the beast.
