To the Citizens of Norland,

 

The Baroness of Krew and her family would like to invite all to the Ball of Winter’s End! Such a joyous occasion, where the cold season of winter calms, inviting spring to the land. To share between all people a night of festivities and games. Dress code for those who are inclined and looking for a new love should wear white and red along their finest dresses and suits. Those who are presumably taken should wear pink and black.

Upon receiving the missive, a smile formed on Kane Redfist's face "A ball eh? Long toime since ah've been to one!" he said, taking a puff of his cigar "Teh roight honorable Kane Redfist will beh there" he chuckled before putting the missive aside and marking the day down.

Brawly, who somehow found himself with an invite, would unfurl the page, nodding to himself. 

 

"'S beenah while since Ah've been towah gud ol' fashion'd ball." 

 

He opens a chest that contained his finest cloths and shook his head. There was nothing within that matched the criteria of what should be worn. A sigh escaped his mouth as he searched. 

 

"Nonnah this'll dwo. Guess Ah'll havta make special preparations fer this occasion." 

 

A though crossed his mind and he was unsure of what color combination to wear. His wife had been distant for years and it was starting to weigh upon him. Brawly quickly banished the though. Perhaps she would come along with him, but the prospect seemed like an impossibility. Brawly shook his head. 

 

"Guess Ah'll havta acquire som new stiches fer this."

Mera Camian read over the invitation that had made its way to her door, and in her usual displeased tone stated, "A ball? In Norland? That's out of the ordinary." The Keeper then proceeded to pin the invitation to someone else's door and pretend she'd never received it. True to form as always, Mera hated balls, dances, weddings, and many other types of merriment.

"I suppose my clothes already fit the occasion... now I wonder if this will be like the one in Haelun'or?"

Remon ponders on whether he should attend. Establishing a good relationship with Krew could make all the difference.. but no. My back is too stiff for a ball.
