A certain irrelevant savoyard by the name of Louis d'Ashford d'Aryn shed a tear upon hearing of the abdication of His Serene Highness "There goes one of the best Princes that the Principality of Savoy has ever had. Thank you, Prince Lucien, for everything that you have done during all these years. I hope that you forgive me for having been busy with other matters during your reign. I pray that GOD forgives me for having neglected my duties towards the Ashford Crown and that we can now drink together in the halls of the Royal Palace as we used to do when we were younger."

Sir Charles Galbraith would blink twice as his nurse showed him the news coming from the Principality of Savoy "Ah, yes, the young Lord Lucien...I recall him now. I am glad that he remembered my lesson the day he visitted the Imperial Palace in Providence: the Holy Mother Church is the most important institution of our Canondom. Our faith identifies us, not just as humans but also as canonists. Our religion is what makes us, the humans, different than any other animal, race or tribe.

And I am, above all, glad that he learnt a lesson that I didn't manage to find the time to schedule with him: Pax Orenia, peace amongst men.

Prince Lucien, you have truly been a great prince, and I am very sorry for all the bad things that happened to you. You certainly did not deserve them." he said, talking to himself, before his nurse approached him and injected him a new dose of laudanum

Borris Iver Kortrevich looked out upon the vast hillscapes behind Jerovitz. More recently, his long conversations with Prince Lucien. He raised his spiked coffee up into the air with a soft smile. "To vy, mea friend. Shall thes bring rest to vy." Likewise, he thought about conversations with Renata, while not as in depth as those with her brother, he knew she would lead the nation well. Borris kept the mug raised. "To Her Serene Highness, Renata. May vyr reign be long and fruitful."

Olivier Guy frowned as he came across the missive. "Aunt Athénaïs! Uncle Adrian!" The youth called as he bound down the stairs of the Temesch Manor to the sitting room. "Why is fratello and fratella calling me mentally ill when I've not even spoken to them since I was a babe? Perhaps they are the delusional ones and projecting their issues!" The young princeling declared towards the duo, letting out a sharp huff before going to head out the door with his sword to the training grounds. @Dasdi@Jacko

"They've had three, milord," a servant remarks as he refills Louis' glass of wine.
