On the 13th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1886 | 11th of Vzmey and Hyff 439 E.S.

 

 

It is with the utmost sorrow that the Mother Church announces the passing of His Holiness, Tylos III. On this very day, the Holy Father ordered the bells of Saint Heinrik to chime for mass. It was in the middle of his sermon that the High Pontiff abruptly died. Enthroned in the year 1876 and passing in 1886, His Holiness reigned for ten good years.

With the passing of the Holy Father, the Church of the Canon hereby enters the position of “Sede Vacante”, otherwise named “The Seat Being Vacant”. We pray to God, all the Exalted and the Saints, that He will grant wisdom to our College of Cardinals to choose a successor that is pleasing to Him.

 

We pray that our new Pontiff be protected from the evils of sin, from greed and gluttony, from pride and selfishness. Rather, may he be a benevolent shepherd to the Canonist flock, guiding all the faithful through the troubles of our world, remaining obedient to God, serving as a light for those stuck in darkness.

 

A funeral shall be held for His Holiness in one Saint’s Day. More information is to be released by Cardinal Katerina. Conclave will be held in two Saint’s Days, following the funeral. Where all Cardinals are summoned to elect the new High Pontiff of the Church.
