[!] A notice was sent not only to the immediate courts of Celia'nor, but also posted to one of the noticeboards that dotted the city. The parchment was fine in quality, and carried the distinct scent of foreign wine. The author's presence in the city had been seldom noted in recent months. In fact, she had mostly been seen locking blades with the Mori and exploring other nations.

"Lliran,

Effective immediately, I shall be resigning from my position as Celia'nor's Court Mage. My pleas and advice have been met with silence, and thus I conclude that I can no longer effectively fulfil my duties. I wish my successor and the Court the best in their future endeavours. Per the demands of my morality, I shall continue aiding in the removal of Voidal threats within elCihi, but shall be no longer associating myself with the upper echelons of the Princess's entourage. I need to walk my own path as Celia'nor needs to walk its.

May my replacement have more success than I, and may their words reach the ears of those mine failed to.

Celiaan guide you all,

Valindra

PS: I'm not moving out just yet. Sell my tavern and I'll sell your mothers."

"Interesting." Said a elder, reading the missive. She'd collect it for future reference.

A Witch of no real influence comments,

folding it neatly before abandoning the parchment to the trash along with the other mail that no one had sent her
