VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK,

“This was the Haeseni identity: the relationship between the individual man, his ambition, and the wilderness that was his home. A Haenseman was an individual who struck out to places yet unexplored- the proverbial the edge of the map- to find his fame, to find his fortune, and to find himself.”

- John Walker, Haense: The Frontier State

We find ourselves landed on a new world, surrounded by the great unknown, but this is not new to our people. Time and time again, we, the Haeseni, have conquered the wilderness around us and turned it into a country worthy of being called the Home of all Highlanders. This time shall be no exception. The desire to explore is as essential a part of our humanity as the desire to seek peace and comfort. There will be trials and struggles ahead as we work to tame the wild and truly establish ourselves on this continent.

For whilst the lands we now settle upon this continent of Aevos might be new, our spirits are the same as always, therefore it is Our wish as the Crown to establish a Royal Commission for the Exploration and Chartering of the Lands of Aevos, by virtue of this Royal Commission shall the borders of Our Kingdom be drawn.

The newly established Royal Commission for the Exploration and the Chartering of Aevos shall be headed by Friar Josef (@Pureimp10), and shall be tasked with the exploration and chartering of Aevos, the drawing of the first map of Haense upon Aevos, naming the regions and natural sights of the Kingdom, and offering insight into the further expansion of the Kingdom.

Any who seek to aid the Kingdom in this effort by joining the Josefite Expedition should send letters of interest to Friar Josef directly.

Damar lifsti va Edlerviki,

His Royal Majesty, Georg, by the Grace of Godan, King of Hanseti and Ruska, Grand Hetman of the Army, Hochmeister of the Order of the Crow, Prince of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Slesvik, Solvesborg, and Ulgaard, Duke of Carnatia, and Vanaheim, Margrave of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Count of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Siegrad, Torun, Toruv, Valdev, and Werdenburg, Viscount of Varna, Baron of Astfield, Buck, Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, and Thurant, Lord of the Westfolk, Protector and Lord of the Highlanders, etcetera.

Friar Josef, Head of the Royal Commission for the Exploration and Chatering of Aevos.

The souls of Erik Kortrevich and Igor Kort, the two men to gift the Royal Family maps of Arcas and Almaris, approve this message.

Viktor var Ruthern strapped an axe at his side, tugging his boots and collecting himself. It seemed the soles had begun to wear something fierce, with the many miles he had already trekked. Many more awaited, surely.

The Highlands need taming.
