Culture is an integral part of all Kingdoms, it is the very thing that sustains the populace throughout their lives and creates a unified identity to rally for in the greatest of strifes. The Palatio Office of Cultivation is primarily focused on such matters, as it oversees various roles to uphold the cultural integrity of the Palatio and nation.

 

There are four roles under this office, all of which are integral to the successful running of it.

I

 

⥼ HRH, Princess Sibyl Gwenyth of Balian ⥽

 

 

The Curador is the head of the Office of Cultivation, acting the supervisor of all Palatio Arancione publications and the preserver of all Balianese culture, new and old. It is a primarily scholarly position that oversees various aspects such as history, literature, fashion, regalia and other intellectual areas of work. From this office comes the varied missives detailing the varied cultural changes over the years and modern advancements as  well as documentation of historical events.

⥼ Lord Godric Vuiller of Aquillae ⥽

 

 

The Keeper of the Crown Jewels is a title that is considered a high honour to hold. With a great trust offered to the person offered such a title, they are primarily tasked with keeping the Royal regalia safe, a responsibility that is not easily given. They also keep track of the Royal regalia through documentation as well as endeavouring to grow the collection further.

A position for those with an eye for beauty, The Keeper of the Wardrobe is held by a person with a great love for the attire of Balian. Often a tailor or designer themselves, they are responsible for all of The Palatio Arancione’s clothing and ensures that Royals and Nobles wear only the most beautiful clothing available. They are primarily tasked with ensuring a catalogue of the various clothing considered acceptable and Balianese is put out at a consistent rate.

Preservation is perhaps the most important aspect of maintaining the culture of a nation, and as such the Royal Archivist is a role of great importance. They are responsible for cataloguing various historical records, documents, artefacts and other things that are required. Often times they are also tasked with the production and publishing of new documents about the Kingdom of Balian.

 

Royal Archivist [Artemis Silver]: The Royal Archivist plays an indispensable role in a palace court, meticulously preserving and cataloguing the historical records, documents, and artefacts that embody the rich tapestry of the realm's heritage.

The Royal Librarians are subject to work in the library of the Palatio Arancione, cataloguing and curating the books for the Royal family. They may also be tasked with going to other libraries or book shops to get more literature for the Palatio library, whether through trade or purchase.

 

Royal Librarians: A Royal Librarian curates and safeguards the repository of knowledge that enriches the intellectual tapestry of the realm.
