FOREWARD

The Dwedmar and the Commonwealth of the Petra have a long and storied history, starting in the council Chambers of Kal’Draakan on the continent of Almaris. Amid their very first diplomatic conversation regarding trade, non-aggression and cultural exchange, a friendship was forged between the Dwedmar and the prominent Heartlander realm that day, cake being eaten in a competition of sorts and herb being enjoyed by all who attended. From that point on, it was abundantly apparent that the Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra were to be allies for all time.

 

 

ARTICLE I: SOVEREIGNTY

The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra, hereon referred to as ‘the Signatories’, do hereby and mutually recognize each other’s sovereignty as independent and autonomous realms. This includes the right to fully rule and govern their realms, territories, and protectorates as they see fit and take a non-interference policy toward said governance.

 

ARTICLE II: TRADE

i. The Signatories do hereby agree to establish a single, tax-free trading stall within the bounds of their capital cities, Kal'Kadrelaz and Vallagne.

 

ii. The Kingdom of Urguan agrees to exchange diamonds for copper with the Commonwealth of the Petra in a two-to-one ratio.

 

iii. The Kingdom of Urguan also agrees to construct a stable within Urguani territory for the Commonwealth of the Petra, to which, the latter will pay for with  a bundle of  Copper for the year

 

ARTICLE III: MILITARY ALLIANCE

i. The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra agree to a defensive military alliance, in which any hostilities from a third party against either one of them will be viewed as an attack against the both of them.

 

ii. The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra agree to settle any dispute between them or in which they may be involved through diplomatic means in such a manner that this alliance and the laws of The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra are not endangered.

 

iii. The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra agree to consult each other whenever, in the opinion of either of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of The Kingdom of Urguan and the Commonwealth of the Petra is threatened.

 

ARTICLE IV: FREE MOVEMENT

The Signatories do hereby agree to allow for free movement between their lands, allowing their subjects to travel unmolested. This does not extend to criminal acts, suspicious behavior, or the moving of armies for warmongering purposes. If a subject of either Signatory is barred from travel, the other shall be informed in a timely manner within a single fortnight.

 

ARTICLE V: EXTRADITION

The Signatories do hereby agree to extradite for fair trial the subjects of their respective Realms should they be found accused of a crime, this only being in effect for crimes committed after the signing of this document. An observer from the offended Realm is authorized to observe the criminal process so as to ensure the article is not violated.

 

ARTICLE VI: DURATION

The Signatories do hereby agree to adhere to this treaty for a duration of fifteen years whereupon the expiratory date the Signatories shall meet for renewal.
