VA BIRODEO E HERZENAV, It is with great jubilation that after a lengthy courting process throughout the war and beforehand, Lady Mikhaila vas Ruthern, Baroness of Rostig, and the veteran soldier Ser Rickard of Valdev have been wed in private at the castle of Morteskvan within the snow capped Haeseni highlands. The proposal of marriage was accepted by His Grace, the Duke of Vidaus during a dinner where Ser Rickard was served the traditional Lok and offered fifty goats to the rightful Patriarch of House Ruthern as is the old Haeseni custom. Ser Rickard’s proposal for a betrothal was accepted on account of his service to the Crown of Hanseti-Ruska at the Battle of Breakwater and the couple was bound in wedlock not too long afterwards. The wedding was simple, held within the construction zone of the Ruthern Duchy of Vidaus where the couple was surrounded only by immediate family members. The ceremony was officiated by Father Villorik Ruthern and the couple celebrated with family in an elaborate dinner for those in attendance, those present found themselves dazzled by the Ruthern relic of Princess Analiesa Josefina’s wedding dress. For those who may wish to have sent gifts, the couple asks that all may be exchanged for a monetary donation to the Crown to support the war efforts to the South and the coming victories of the Kingdom.
