Lightning painted the clouds, Thunder rolled over skies. -=+=- And the earth trembled. Shadows loomed ever closer. The horses in armor Riders assembled. They probed our defense, Looking for weaknesses. -=+=- Their arrows found flesh, Gifted by foolishness They slayed one by one, Armor did slow us up. -=+=- And they stuck us with spears, Cut us while we reared. Lady Emeline Barclay Spoiler Whilst very, very annoying at time, I had a lot of fun writing and recording this song. A HUGE shout out who @MapleSunflowerfor toiling over this work- without her, it would simply be another poem with some melody stuck in my head. But she made it a reality! I was really hoping to record this myself, however, mic difficulties lead to another voice being the forefont. (Thank you again, Maple.) In war, people win and lose... the Coalition lost this time and there should be marks in history to represent that. We just have fun with it all. Some battles were won, and others lost. "The duo worked hard to put this together and it came out wonderfully. May it serve as a reminder of a challenge we simply cannot repeat." After some time, the resourceful knight said a quick prayer for fallen comrades and opened his eyes.
