A COLD WIND BLOWS | Covenant of Necromancy [Recruitment]

A cold gale blew along the floodplains of the Southeast, a sign of something foreboding to come. Black fumes fettered within the ruins of peasants' hovels, blood soaking the earth to feed the worms below. Skeletal servants and ghouls shambled this way and that, constructing a makeshift guillotine to hide within the undergrowth of a neglected field. A ratty, old-looking flier can be found within the dingiest alleys and poorest of homes - and, curiously, nestled within the homes of human nobility, specifically.

"Be you a peasant, tired of your wrathful overlords and sniveling Kings?

Be you a void magi, slaved to the infinite and plagued by withering?

Be you a knight, whose glory and chivalry has gone so unjustly unsung?

Mayhaps, be you a noble kinsman cheated out from your lofty destiny by your own blood?

 

Life is so woefully unfair, and you know it best. You've been stolen from, cheated, robbed: and those crooks have only gained and gained from your misfortune. All is not lost, however -- in the shadows of these blights of men lay folk just like yourself. Misfits, mayhaps - godkillers, we fashion ourselves. Liberate yourself, or do not: you have nothing to lose but all to gain, don't you?

 

Seek ye' the place where the guillotine stands,
Where once justice fell by ghostly hands.

In the southeast's embrace, where the waters flow,
There lies a great sum of knowledge to bestow.

This is a recruitment drive for a Necromancer coven, for both the Necromancy MA & the Ghoul CA (and/or darkstalkers/dragur). As stated before in the past in other posts from Femur & others, please don’t pursue this simply for a cool, rare MA to brag about.

 

This recruitment drive is based on the quality of character & roleplay, not first come first serve! Please do not create a character simply to become a necro (though this is fine if you're going for ghoul, instead).

 

A word of warning: if you prefer to stick to pacifist/morally gray/etc roleplay, if the character is meant for slice of life/meme roleplay, or if you’re unsure about wanting to delve into Occult/dark magick roleplay, this might not be for you. Necromancy cannot be dropped and alters your persona in various ways (personality wise and others).
