PREAMBLE

The contents of this passage shall serve as the official written testament to the defensive alliance of the Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate. All parties participating within this pact declare adherence to its terms under oath of blood, honor and soul to our ancestors.

The Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate hereby affirm their recognition of one another’s sovereignty and right to rule their respective realms and their claimed borders with the acknowledgement of the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate’s claim to the majority of the Brightwald, the Sakura-Mori and the Norowareta-Mori and the Principality of Reinmar’s claim to the region of the Ferdenwald.

On Non-Aggression and Mutual Defense,

The Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate hereby affirm and do swear respectively to not aggress upon one another’s sovereignty, land claims or citizenry through indirect or direct military conflict. Any conflict that should arise will be met with attempted resolvement through diplomatic means.

The Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate hereby affirm and do swear respectively to a mutual defense agreement to come to one another’s aid should either party face an existential threat to their sovereignty, to their borders and border claims or their citizenry. A campaign against either party will be considered an attack upon the other. Both parties reserve the consensual right to campaign together in a full military alliance should both be willing and agree to active consultation to the continued improvement of each others’ defensive networks.

All parties agree to the cooperation of the elimination of abominitive beings including but not limited to necrotics, demons and whatever else would be considered a hostile monstrosity.

On the Extradition of Criminals,

Both the Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate with the inclusion of its autonomous cultural reservation of  Sakuragakure agree to a mutual extradition clause where there is reasonable justification for arrest. An individual of either of these nations justly suspected of a high-tier or felony crime will be trialed in the nation where he is suspected of being guilty. They will be afforded representation by their home government during the trial.

On Trade and Free Movement,

The Principality of Reinmar and the Koyo-Kuni Shugonate agree to the exchange of a tax-free trade stall in each other's capitals to encourage trade and the free movement of citizens between nations guaranteed without detainment. Each stall is expected to be kept regularly stocked within reason.

Both governments agree to the shared access of emeralds and copper from their respective mines. It is agreed upon though that civilians will have priority rights to their respective nation’s resources though should state sanctioned miners arrive during the other parties’ visit.
