• This is a Tier 4 Sacrament.
• Requires two Paladins to perform, as well as 1 Lightstone as a base cost. An additional Lightstone may be sacrificed to imbue a listed effect upon an individual. 
• Without OOC consent, any marking/effect would only last an IRL week at the most, but with OOC consent may last indefinitely. If an individual later on decides they no longer wish to be affected by this ability after having consented, they may freely allow it to fade over 24 IRL hours.
• Alternatively, the mark may be lifted or stripped by this ritual being performed for a second time upon an individual.
• The tell imbued from this rite onto an individual would be freeform, so long as it is limited to the extent described in the ability itself - a single tell or marking. It would always be active. 
• Blessing of Sunlight is a strictly aesthetic effect with no genuine combative application. Its offered resistance to the cold would not allow one to stride into an arctic climate unprepared, but it may make one feel warmer in the winter should they be adequately clothed. 
• Lion’s Penance would not prevent anyone from fighting Paladins, would not make them kill themselves due to guilt, etc. "Sin" refers to actions that the marked individual would personally hold to be morally wrong or abhorrent.

• Two Aesthetic choices may be given upon a paladin undertaking the ritual of Blessing of Sunlight. Though there must be a valid RP reason for the second aesthetic blessing. As a cultural ritual a valid reason would be a great achievement such as killing a darkspawn that poses a great threat; (an azdrazi, lich, darkstalker, etc.) Great feats of service: (Saving a person's life, severe injury in protecting descendants, providing great relief and aids in times of disasters.)

As stated in the lore for Ritus Sol; "Equal parts blessing and bane, this sacrament is relatively benign in its make, being widely utilized for ordainments, cultural rites, and a myriad of other purposes."  

 

As its purpose is supposed to be a culturally significant ritual to reflect ordainments and other important processes. I feel it would fit the lore and culture better to raise the cap from 1 to 2 aesthetic blessings. The redline I have proposed would reflect the importance of the aesthetic blessing as something that can not be handed out but earned in hard work and service as the lore implies it is intended to be.
