ISSUED BY HOUSE ARDENNES

On the

14th Day of Tobias’ Bounty in the year of our lord 1973

Formerly known as House Haverlock, now to be known as House Ardennes. Due to the constant rumors and slight truths of past Haverlock being ‘daemon-sympathizing darkspawns’, the young Count and remaining members of House Ardennes decided to drop the tainted name and rebirth themselves anew. As well as becoming proud members of the Church, and seeing to it that no one shall fall to the clutches of darkspawnery again upon their rebirth.

The House Ardennes denounces Henry Arthur Haverlock as Regent, ending his Regency. Due to his large growth in age and moving to the far-off north to grow and flourish his love with his wife Tiffany of Talentine. The House of Ardennes wishes him well on his journey and prays for their family member’s safety. Who has decided to mark a new path, in this lifetime.

The House now calls upon Baron of Virdain Henri de Lewes, Uncle of the young Count of Talentine León Henri. To ascend to become the new Regent of House Ardennes who shall assist in looking of The County of Talentine until the young Count comes of age to take ahold once more.

                                                                                                                      SIGNED,

His Lordship, León Henri de Ardennes,
The Count of Talentine, Baron of Gotfridcher

His Lordship, Henri de Lewes,

The Baron of Virdain, Regent of Talentine

Henry Arthur Haverlock frowns, wondering if this particular segment was just poor wording or if he was actually being denounced. He did not know, but either way he did not wish his newly-named Kinsmen ill-will. As for himself, he packed his belongings and bid his kinsmen adieu as he and his bannermen prepared to move to the north for a more quiet lifestyle.

"My beloved Nephew, I did my best for you. I wish you and your Uncle all the best - I will write to you frequently. Please do not hesitate to reach out."

The Young Count, who had no idea what he said was off-worded stood by a candle lit desk, watching  his new Regent/Other Uncle to assist him in writing a small letter of thank you to Henry. His freshly picked dandelions in hand, prepared to put them inside the letter to be sent off. "It has to be perfect!" The Young one said to the Baron. @sondher

The newly appointed Regent of Talentine, Henri de Lewes, nodded his head, patiently relaying the requests and information in neat ink and quill. The Baron, notoriously awful in regards to the treatment of children and fatherhood, seemingly had a change of heart.

Perhaps the young Count Leon was what he wished his own heir to have been.

The newly appointed Regent's son and heir, Guy de Lewes, uttered a single word as he bore witness to his father's writings and correspondence with other lords, "Ratio."

From the Seven Skies, an Illatian had flashbacks to the river Baltas, and the old March of Ardennes, and well to some alchemist fire too; though he wondered what relation these folk had to the d'Amaury.

Camilla Monika Falkner chuckled at the document. "The meal on my table is called beef, but it doesn't mean we don't know it was a cow. Seems they've had generations of darkspawn, but they always found a way to push suspicion onto others..." she stated as she went to play with her Reinmaren shephered.
