Rezalisa clutches the cross of Saint Emma as she heard of this missive, the very cross that the Late-Queen Amaya had bestowed upon her as a child; and the very cross to have successfully banished a wicked geist that sought to take the life of The White Flame's most devoted soul, the Patriarch of Jorenus; Villorik.  Perhaps there is more miracles to be found in the world by the virtue of The People's Queen.

"The late Queen Amaya was certainly among the most pious exemplars of faith of our current age,"

Mused John of Aaun upon having glanced over the missive. Setting aside some time to light a candle in her memory.

"It would be no surprise to me were she in the company of the Saints. Her martyr's death already warrants beatification alone."

Mahaut sat quietly, tucked away in her favorite hiding spot as she read over the missive. Although she was too young to grasp the ardent hatred against the she-devil, who took Amaya’s life, she was not too young to remember its effects. The cries of patriotic soldiers on and surrounding the gallows, to the sharp snapping of the she-devil’s neck. It was a haunting sound at least, as Verena would never let the Leuven see it.

Fear would’ve followed Mahaut every time she looked to the gallows since that day, had it not been for the blooming and beautiful roses that made their stand. They offered Mahaut the same solace that Amaya did in life. If this is truly work done by Amaya’s venerated hands, perhaps, it would be another reason for Mahaut to love roses.

"No devil or darkspawn truly dies in our world. They always find a way back to the mortal plane. Yet they continue to kill."

"Bloodshed solves nothing, only fueling the cycle of hatred for generations to come. Cleansing of the mind and soul is the only way to stop this evil- but they don't seem to get it. Yet."

Vahlok quietly spoke to himself atop a plateau donning a bright red monastery.

"Is this what you wanted, Villorik?"

Amari dug through her storage, withdrawing a chest piece that had once belonged to the venerated Amaya. Her fingers tracing the new nicks, dents, and scratches which she had contributed to on the armor. There were more times than she could count where the thing had scarcely saved her life, due to it being well-made or simple miracles. Though she mostly believed the latter.

The People's Queen always had a way with watching over those around her. Always pointing out, or in this case, leaving signs.

Esfir clutched her ruby necklace, gifted to her by her own Grandmother and Queen. Its gems were as red as the flowers that had miraculously bloomed. "She deserves all the recognition in the world... She's as much ein Saint as they get." Still, despite Amaya's supposed mercy, there was still a churning in Esfir's stomach. Something angry, nauseous, and vengeful.

Adelina sat on the edge of her bed, reading over the open letter. A single tear would roll down her cheek as she fiddled with the angel necklace handing from her neck - a gift from the late queen. Nothing but joy and admiration filled her heart as she reminisced on the times spent with her Queen-Friend. "Firr Yuri es correct - this es an obvious connection. Queen Amaya continues to bless our kingdom! Forever will she receive my gratitude."
